Waiting for Lifeguard's bet.

Thanks to lucky goal Arsenal won and I am through to the second round.

I am glad that I made a good choice. The next matches of Arsenal seem tricky because the team is still unsettled. So, it made sense to use them in the first round.

Chelseaman93 is the man of the week for picking Stoke to win against Liverpool.

Bobored is out because Fulham did not win against Blackburn. That was my second choice and I am glad that I did not make it. I wanted it because Blackburn are s**t this season, but after seeing an earlier league match of Fulham I was not convinced by them. They are not finding their rhythm yet. My hint is that having a third authentic manager in three season is too much even for the most fluid teams and the most versatile players.

I loved Tony's pick. Starting with Norwich is a statement of intent. Is just that Hogdson is king of draws and I was sure he would steal one there.
Enough for tonight. Time to sleep

Actually Bobo and I are through on a draw, but you only get one draw is the way I saw it. So if one of us picks a team and they draw again we are out, at least that's the way I understand it. Skin of our teeth though if we do get through haha

Uh, um. I thought you had to declare it in advance, in order to take advantage of the "draw rule", but I am cool with any application of it, as long as it is consistent.

I will let Bobo answer this, but my impression is that you can wait for Competition 2. It shouldn't take long for the first one to finish (less than a month I believe). Please watch this space
