Swansea City V Manchester United, Dec 23
Joshd24 (Chelsea) 4 years ago
How can Fergs get away with what he says about the refs? No respect.... Should have gotten the win though. Unlucky.... But you have been lucky all season regarding calls, so about time
SoccerIsFootbal (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Recently, nearly every week we are told to stfu because we always get lucky, and it's about time a decision went against us or that we had some bad luck. Maybe one day people will realize these decisions and luck largely even out, at least for the big teams.

I see no malice or ill intent in your comment, I'm not commenting on you specifically, but there is a mindset out there that is really frustrating to stomach as a utd fan. People just love to hate us, so much so that they can't even hide their prejudice.

All ill say is stuff happens to everyone, but usually utd have the resolve to get the result no matter what. For whatever reason, didn't happen today, but I'm expecting we make something positive of this frustration and win the remaining holiday fixtures
Cjaystacks (Manchester United) 4 years ago
We all get lucky haha speak yourself mate, 2 disallowed goals not long ago and in this game handballs in the box, the foul on Van Persie in the build up to swansea equaliser.... I could go on
Pukaki (Chelsea) 4 years ago

You should know just like everyone else that the FA has rules in place for all clubs in the league, and a different set of rules for united and fergie.

United supporters won't admit it, but its clear to see for everyone else
Superfanof (Manchester United) 4 years ago
^perhaps you'll only notice decisions that goes our way rather than decisions that goes our opponents way to be more specific
Scs33 (Bayern München) 4 years ago
I think that the "foul" on van persie leading up to the goal was barely a foul. Also, man utd should still be paying dividends on rooney's disgraceful elbow to the head of someone (forgot who it was) he should have been banned last season for 10 games at least. But it is to united's detriment that was not banned, as we saw today haha
SoccerIsFootbal (Manchester United) 4 years ago
The rooney elbow was two seasons ago, and the fa made up for it by banning rooney 3 games for swearing. Jokers
Malachai (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Chelsea fans saying we complain, when they themselves been appealing and complaining to the FA not long ago...
AnyArrow (Inter Milan) 4 years ago
Well long way to go, 4 points difference.... The gap either will be loosen or tighten.... Just enjoy
Ruudvan (Manchester United) 4 years ago
We accept the apologize but punishment need has to be done for that typical attitude.
Accident? C'mon.... They all profesional players with that little gap ball with head and kicking the ball? That we call in purposed kick
[account-removed] 4 years ago
Yeah keane broked leg.... Cantona kick on the chest.... Rooney elbow.... But I agree with you ball to head is more dangerous...
[account-removed] 4 years ago
Yea punishment needed bcoz that ball could have killed rvp lmfao
Miks1986 (Manchester City) 4 years ago
Typical fergi, complaining about the ref.    But non the less swansea plays some beautiful football.
[account-removed] 4 years ago
From next game van persi will wear Petr Čech's helmet.... And all the other Man UTD players too bcoz heading the ball is too dangerous in football.... Just now heard from alex fergi...
Theatreofdream (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Is this a supposed to be a joke? Because it's not funny at all.... It's funnier to see a liverpool fan trying to insult the great manchester united.... I mean, you are just "liverpool" but we are "manchester united".... See the difference? Again, you are just liverpool, we are manchester united....

You are welcome to envy us
Malachai (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Some one blasting the ball when you're down on the ground at the back of your head is heading the ball? Obviously, another troll
TheCheshireCat (Manchester United) 4 years ago
PeterGriffin, your stupidity is insulting to everyone with the name Peter
Liverpool101 (Liverpool) 4 years ago
I've headed the goal post harder than what he has gotten hit with the ball.... Its not that bad justs= a small blackout
Loopy8 (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Terrible game for Rooney
Malachai (Manchester United) 4 years ago
SHould had subbed him off long ago
RedNev10 (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Totally unneccessay from Ashley Williams. If you watch the replay, there was clear intent. He's not even looking at the ball when he kicks it lol.

That doesn't excuse the fact that we missed out on 3 points today. Dominating possesion at the Liberty Stadium is impressive but we were awful in the final third
Phillfc7 (Liverpool) 4 years ago
RVP got up very quick. Maybe Williams meant it, but it's not like he kicked him in the head. RVP heads the ball all the time
Richardajohn (Swansea City) 4 years ago
To me it looks like Williams attempted to blast the ball away out of frustration but sliced it instead sending it toward the unfortunate RVPs head. RVPs reaction was a definite red card event though so he was lucky to get away with a yellow. Also in my opinion RVP fouled Dyer just before that. Dyer had a touch of the ball and gets in front of him so RVP trips him so it should of been a Swansea Free kick anyway
Malachai (Manchester United) 4 years ago
@Richardajohn RVP red Card?!?! If it was you, you would be frustrated. Was it necessary for Williams to blast it? And now your complaining about RVP fouling players, how about Chico? Its football, fouls happen
Vincedout (Arsenal) 4 years ago
Williams had to blast it. When you have Man UTD players all over the penalty area and you're a team like Swansea 15 minutes away from a draw vs Man UTD you have to blast the ball away. Now, did he mean to hit RVP is another debate. I don't think he did but we can never know for sure
Kain (Liverpool) 4 years ago
Luckily enough that van persie is still alive without a broken neck when williams pelted the ball at him
Madro (Newcastle United) 4 years ago
Getting a football kicked at your head does not kill you.  Fergi complains too much
Sugalee09 (Manchester United) 4 years ago
I don't know how weak of a football you play, but when a ball is hit with that much force from that close of a distance, on the HEAD, the impact could 'kill' you. He's lucky he doesn't even have a concussion from looking at where he was hit.

Sir Alex isn't complaining, that was genuine life-threatening action. You, as well as billions around the world are just so insensitive to it
MJTorres (Liverpool) 4 years ago
Well apparently it didn't hurt at all, look how fast he got up
Sid3091 (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Something called adrenaline. Look it up, suarez gets a huge rush of it when caught diving
WetporridgeCITY (Manchester City) 4 years ago
Hypocrite red face strikes again.... Story could have been different if van persie kick the ball at william's head
Malachai (Manchester United) 4 years ago
At least our manager doesn't sit with his hands in his pocket all game on the chair and couldn't give a f*ck about his club. Moreover, couldn't even handle the discipline of the players
WetporridgeCITY (Manchester City) 4 years ago
Awww another red face
Hope (Arsenal) 4 years ago
^ I think every managers defends their player blindly so I don't blame SAF. Lol
Tomasmolan (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Oh are the Man City fans back. Ye went very quite on here when we beat your team a few weeks ago, hello again, nice to see you, welcome back
RedDevil08 (Manchester United) 4 years ago
@tomasmolan: I was about to say.... Thank you!
Cjaystacks (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Where was this city fan when we beat them at the emptyhad? Even snitch went hiding
Malachai (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Overall view on the game:

1) Swansea played well. Man Utd played not so well.
2) Rooney was not on form
3) THe incident on van persie. Totally unnecessary. No matter he got up quick or not, he could have been seriously hurt. TO those who said a ball can't kill a person, obviously has failed physics
Hope (Arsenal) 4 years ago
^if they die with a hit ball players shouldn't allowed to play with it though.... Lol
Goalkeeperfreak (Arsenal) 4 years ago
Cause football is not smashing the ball into someone's head from less than 50cm away
Theatreofdream (Manchester United) 4 years ago
@hope when will you realize that the definition of football is not to purposely kick someone's head with a ball at full power from a few yards away

You and others who are joking about that incident are definitely not mature enough to see things from a neutral perspective.... Too narrow minded I would say, pathetic
Mik0lai (KS Widzew Lódz) 4 years ago
Many tackles can result in a broken leg.
Some do.
Most do not.

Fergie needs to calm down, the only guy who has a right to be angry is van persie. If you want to see someone almost die, go watch john terry get a full power kick to the jaw. THAT was crazy
Hope (Arsenal) 4 years ago
^ I agree with you but most managers do defend their players blindly.... So I understand SAF comments. Lol
Mik0lai (KS Widzew Lódz) 4 years ago
You make a good point as well, I just done like how he uses these exaggerated terms like "lucky to be alive".... But I guess he's just feeding the media so they can have a great headline
Pepperoninipz (Liverpool) 4 years ago
Great Header!
