Manchester United Footytube Player Of The Year 2013.
Bjarni10 (Manchester United) 1 year ago
With about a month left of the season I think it's about time we start to vote for our player of the year. And I will have actual results after the voting is done, the rules are as follow:

1. Vote for your top 3 Man United players of the 2012 - 2013 season.
2. The players will get points for each place, 1st place gets 3 points, 2nd gets 2 points and 3rd gets 1 point.
3. The voting will stop after the Swansea game and then I will calculate the total points.
4. The winner will then be announced here and on the United forum.
5. And you can ONLY vote for 3 players, no more no less.

So go ahead and vote for who feel were the best this season

1. Carrick. No doubt about it, the only man holding our pathetic excuse for a midfield together (no offense to Cleverly, who's ever improving)
2. Rafael. For being easily the most consistent right-back in the PL bar Zabaleta and Johnson. His improvement has been phenomenal and I wouldn't have pictured him becoming the player he is today last season. Amazing.
3. De Gea. VDG has critics for all the wrong reasons, price tag and supposed "home-sickness" that strikes Spanish players. Doesn't stop the fact that he's the best damn goalkeeper in the PL. Aerial weakness? I've yet to see him flap at a high ball since the new year and he's bulked up. He'll be eating Grant Holt, Lambert and Carroll alive soon enough.

Honourable mentions: RVP. Rooney. Kagawa. Cleverly

1) Carrick (He started basically in all our matches) 2) Rafael (Huge admiration for his breaking into ranks) 3) RVP (He was extremely effective but that's why we paid the lion share for him)
