I wasn't able to catch the game, but it looks like Liverpool missed a lot of opportunities, as is usually the case. Kuyt should have had that header (He needs to score a goal in general). On a positive note, it looks like they have a nice passing rhythm going. They just need to finish! No more off target long shots...

Anyone who thinks carrol is a future prospect needs to reconsider. He's got no positional sense, his first touch is worse than that of a donkey's, he cannot participate in the building up of attacks and can only use his head to score, he cannot create space for himself and too heavily relies on his teammates to pick up the slack for him. These are all things that you cannot just learn, it's the basics of football that you have to be born with.

I'm gonna' give an early call that we've got another heskey here.

That was a terrible performance from Liverpool. Kuyt looks like he's missing a lot of sharpness in front of goal at the moment. The starting formation of 3-4-2-1 with a number of players playing out of position (Coates, Skrtel, and maybe add Hendo in there too) was a really big question mark. It was good to see Johnson finally play on the RW, it just would've been good to have seen Kelly as RB instead of Skrtel. And where was Agger today? Injured?

Liverpool might be good on the defensive side, but their attack is rubbish. 15 shots and only 1 on target. Unacceptable

Typical Liverpool performance.coming on the back of an impressive win against City they flop against smaller sides. Kenny's selection with 3 CB's and Kuyt up top was shocking. Shows that he himself doesn't trust Carroll to lead the attack. They need 2-3 world class strikers and a playmaker to set it up for them
