That is a tuff call.... The ball his his foot then onto his hand, and not with standing that, there was no obvious advantage if the ball was to not hit his hand.

Mancini is becoming ridiculous match after match with his ridiculous statements. He says that was not a penalty.... The guy clearly needs to go and learn the football basics before coming out & running his mouth all the time !
No doubt Stevie G told him to STFU in the post-match interview in the first leg !

Bellamy did well as a lone striker. It would be nice to see him and Suarez up front at the start of every game

Unlucky to give away the pen from Richards- but his hands were up and the ball was still travelling to the goal. To not give a penalty there would have been very controversial.... All in all, great performance from the Reds, we definitely deserved to win.
However, I'm sad to say we look like a different team w/o Carrol in the lineup. I've been a supporter of his since his form has dipped, but it is clear that we play with much more fluidity and bite without him leading the line. I still hope he'll wake up from this funk, but his time is clearly running out...
