Unlike La Liga which is a two horse race, EPL has always been very competitive.... Last year, Manchester United won the league but it was not an easy journey.... They faced fierce competition from other teams, some of which made this journey difficult for them......

Most notable among these teams are Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.... This year's EPL will be even tougher with United still struggling to fill the void in their midfield while Rooney is unsettled at the club.... Chelsea has become stronger by signing Mourinho as manager...... Liverpool and Tottenham are struggling to hold on to their star players while as usual, Arsenal is still struggling with its transfers despite claiming that they have over 70 millions to spend this summer...... As we found out in last article that, Manchester United performed very well in EPL 2012-13. Now, take a look at how these top EPL teams performed last season......

Its a two horse race because they are far beyond their competition, the top epl teams are not that far beyond their counterparts, they don't have as many stars as madrid and barce they choke sometimes so they loose matches to lower level teams like aston villa, I think only put in Athletico madrid in epl and they would be 3rd place
