This is probably the worst highlight they could've picked. Japan had much better opportunities, but more importantly Peru had the best opportunities. They had around 6 shots on target in the last ten minutes, including two shots that hit the post within five minutes of each other. So disappoint
You don't make sense at all. If Japan had much better opportunities, that means they had the best opportunities. And you only use best if it is more than 2 you are comparing, and there are only 2 teams
I'm kinda disappointed.... Forget about the fact that the main players weren't at best condition.... But I'm not happy with Zac's choices in this match (Ok fine we tested the 3-4-3 but still....) Kawashima-Kurihara-Konno-Inoha-Nishi-Hasebe-Endo-Yasuda-Sekiguchi-Maeda-Okazaki Maybe it was better for Nishi to come on as a sub since it was his first game AND it was the first time they used the 3-4-3 in an intl. Match. Should've been Kawashima-Kurihara-Konno-Inoha-Hasebe-Hosogai-Endo-Yasuda-Ienaga-Lee-Fujimoto
Either way.... Can't wait for the match against Czech Rep. THAT will be a proper game...
I've got nothing against Kurihara, but even on his own team, Nakazawa is a much better defender--whatever happened to him? Of course, I think we all know that Shunsuke still has it, and if he'd been treated properly on the national team maybe he'd still want to play with them! The same goes for Shinji Ono, even though he retired a couple years ago internationally.... But if you're going to go with young players, why not play Takayuki Morimoto? He's a great player!
