Ipswich Town V Arsenal, Jan 12

Goal was offside. Rubbish finishing again by Arsenal
Arsenal4great (Arsenal) 1 year ago
Arsenal flagging form has started again. Three games without a win! Now it is the time for chelsea to start laughing at us. Arshavin keep disappointing game after game. Lucky we have second leg to amend for this and that is if we can wake up
SoccerISfootbal (Manchester United) 1 year ago
Take nothing away from ipswich. They did well to shut out arsenal.... But this is what people complain about(gunners), and what others (rivals) have almost come to expect in recent years. All the talent and flash, but where is the winning mentality to grind out results....

Well I guess all wenger can do is hope that in the second leg ipswich don't perform like leeds did over the weekend.

...
Icsgcs (Arsenal) 1 year ago
Pretty sure his going to go with the strongest line up. Not subs or reserves, to secure the carling cup
DEFENDtheBRIDGE (Chelsea) 1 year ago
I can just as easily see him be defiant and insist upon playing subs.... The football gods would not approve
Arsenalfbce (Arsenal) 1 year ago
THERE IS NOT SUCH THING AS HOPE.... ARSENAL TO WEMBLY SIMPLE AS THAT. IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE COME BACK AGAIN AFTER SECOND LEGS. HUGE SCORE LINE SAID ARSENAL BLUFF.... IPWICH. POOR LADS
Dpfka0821 (Manchester United) 1 year ago
Wow. I was hoping but sure wasn't expecting this    Good job Ipswich

I now believe what Evra of Manu said that Arsenal is a training school club hahaha
Arsenal4great (Arsenal) 1 year ago
And that man shitty is a glory hunter
Riki123arsenal (Arsenal) 1 year ago
Exactly, you just take any player who is great, bribe him to come, and he comes
Jhoyos88 (Arsenal) 1 year ago
Haha this is coming from a man city fan. You guys spend millions and millions of dollars to try to keep up with us and we just use our youth team we create players not buy them but yet we killed you guys 3-0 at your house and the post saved you at emirates. You can't talk s**t son. Man city have no history and would never have any
Ardak (Arsenal) 1 year ago
@ Martinify: that's ok, man!
Yeah, let's say we are a training school club!
Following your logic, then it is not us, but it's you who then should be ashamed that this training school club beat such super professional clubs as Manchester City, Chelsea and is still in the EPL title race, FA Cup, Carling Cup semifinal. Yeah, we're probably a training school club indeed! Lol
I'm proud to be a gooner, because even if it's a training school club (as you all haters say), I f*****g love it and happy that it fucks up a lot of great clubs and is always there at the top.

Morale: if you want to have a great team, you need to have a great training school club! Lol
Chelseaman93 (Chelsea) 1 year ago
Kudos to those Ipswich players, from the defenders to Wickham and Priskin in front. That was a real solid display from them, didn't let Arsenal create chances and I feel like they deserved the goal (offside maybe?) and a win because they were the better side imo. But now the 2nd leg will surely be the most difficult game Ipswich have played recently, they will need to defend even better than they did today, and I hate to say it but their only chance might be to just park the bus, and hope the post denies Arsenal like it did against Man city lol!
Arsenal4great (Arsenal) 1 year ago
Definitely they are going to park the bus like other teams have been doing at emirate. And to overcome them, arsenal need a solid performance and force them to make mistake to probably a pk to get the first goal. After the first goal, then they can go home with basket full of goals. It is the 1st goal at emirate that is the key right now
Chelseaman93 (Chelsea) 1 year ago
Yeah exactly, in fact they have no option but to park the bus. Or else they will come out of London with another 7-0 thrashing lol. And like you said, if Arsenal can just score the first goal, then they should be able to handle Ipswich and wrap up the game!
REDDevil98 (Manchester United) 1 year ago
Hope Arsenal Loose, I want the underdog to win the cup
DredguyJay (Chelsea) 1 year ago
Ha ipswich I love you
Jhoyos88 (Arsenal) 1 year ago
Ha chelsea sucks
Voltrax (Tottenham Hotspur) 1 year ago
Umm they beat this team 7-0 while they are in their worst run in god knows how many years...
Ardak (Arsenal) 1 year ago
@ Voltrax: your comparison doesn't make any sense. Do you really think that since we lost to Ipswich 1:0 and Ipswich lost to Chelsea 7:0, we are supposed to be beaten by Chelsea 8:0?
To your notice, we beat Chelsea 3:1. Football is not about logic, it's about consistency and luck.

Your linear logic doesn't make any sense
Catenaccio (Chelsea) 1 year ago
He never said that--but if the shoe fits.... Anyways, while obviously Chelsea wouldn't be likely to beat Arsenal 7-0, it's also true that Arsenal surely weren't pulling any punches in this match, and that Ipswich showed a very inspirational display!
Voltrax (Tottenham Hotspur) 1 year ago
@Ardak: I am not suggesting that at all. All I am saying is teams have their ups and downs. So this isn't really the right place to be saying "chelsea sucks"
Ardak (Arsenal) 1 year ago
@Voltrax: Chelsea, of course, doesn't suck, they just have a hard time at the moment, and I'm sure they will come back with a fighting spirit
Na33m9 1 year ago
People 2nd leg is remaining and arsenal will surely win.... But i`m afraid they will not play like leeds game....

Come ON arsenal
Ardak (Arsenal) 1 year ago
I'm glad that a lot of Barca fans support Arsenal among English clubs. Cheers!
Riki123arsenal (Arsenal) 1 year ago
Obvious offside for the goal but ipswich played good and deserved a draw. They were great at holding off the arsenal offense but won't be so good at emirates. They may as well say goodbye to their carling cup hopes as soon as they step on to the grass and hear the arsenal fans's "gunpower"
Mmpollard (Arsenal) 1 year ago
Honestly dude, it's cocky people like you that just beg teams like Ipswich to come and upset us. To say that this tie is done and dusted when we have lost the first leg 1-0 is rediculous. Sure, you can call me a superstitious c**t but c'mon, theirs a difference between confidence and cockiness
Mmpollard (Arsenal) 1 year ago
There's *
Goalkeeperfreak (Arsenal) 1 year ago
Sh!T happens. But I'm just glad this wasn't the FA Cup. We are still in all competitions. And I think basically, we were given two lessons: Don't underestimate your opponents. And these lessons were learnt at the expense of two games, not two cups
REDDevil98 (Manchester United) 1 year ago
There gonna' be a third lesson pretty soon
Toparsenal (Arsenal) 1 year ago
I never suported Sprs But I will this weekend bitch
Ardak (Arsenal) 1 year ago
How can you, MU fans, laugh at Arsenal's defeat 1:0 if you guys were thrashed 4:0 by the team comfortably sitting at the bottom of the EPL table?

It doesn't matter whether it is a reserve team or not. History is history. Chill out, devils!

Unlike you, we lost but we did not get knocked out of the cup.
If we don't move through past Ipswich, then you can talk s**t about us. But I guess it won't happen
Tomiswedd (Manchester United) 1 year ago
Arsenal fielded, or at least substituted most of their starting 11. United did not. It DOES matter that it was a reserve team. Why would it not?
Ardak (Arsenal) 1 year ago
@Tomiswedd: I mean who cares if MU played reserved team or not, you're out and we're still in the cup. When we win the cup, people won't reason whether Arsenal or MU played reserved team; they will just congratulate us instead and this will be part of our history.
Reddevilz306 (Manchester United) 1 year ago
Idiot don't act like you hve won it.... Oh yea congratulations are hard to cme 4 you guyz hw mny yearz 5 or 6 doesn't matter first win it and den speak.... Loserz!
Ardak (Arsenal) 1 year ago
@Reddevilz306: 5 or 6 or 10 years doesn't matter, we just need to win the cup. We will win the Carling Cup, FA Cup and EPL for sure. We're gonna' destroy you this year!
Reddevilz306 (Manchester United) 1 year ago
Lolz you are a funny fellow!Ol da bst
Reddevilz306 (Manchester United) 1 year ago
Oh yea you 4gt champions league!Won't you guyz win that too...
Ardak (Arsenal) 1 year ago
@Reddevilz306: I'm not sure about Champions League, it's gonna' be a very tough game against Barcelona who are at their peak at the moment but as far as other competitions concerned, we have very high chances
Reddevilz306 (Manchester United) 1 year ago
Ipswich beat arsenal! What a f***ing result nevr expected though.... Feel like laughin at the arsenal fanz right nw.... Especially aftr their ridiculous comments aftr each manu matches! So hahahahahahahah...
REDDevil98 (Manchester United) 1 year ago
Beating Arsenal starting 11
Goalkeeperfreak (Arsenal) 1 year ago
At least Arsenal can still win this league cup thing. Unlike some other team I heard, got trashed 4-0 by I think, West Ham?
Reddevilz306 (Manchester United) 1 year ago
That wz our reserve team mate.... And I guess west ham is far better than ipswich who is languishin at the bottm of the npower league
Pweyhe14 (Arsenal) 1 year ago
This wasn't Arsenal's starting 11 REDDevil.... Nasri, RVP, Sagna, and Song all out. Other than Cesc those have been are most in-form players this year
Jiexun (Manchester United) 1 year ago
Amazing result I never expected! unfortunately I still think arsenal will go through    But come on ipswich! Park a huge ass bus
Mrfusion (Manchester United) 1 year ago
Please park a huge double decker also
Senny (Arsenal) 1 year ago
You would need to build Fort Knox - buses just don't cut it haha
Duces14 (Arsenal) 1 year ago
Why did I have a feeling this was gona happen.  Ohh gunners theres no words to describe how inconsistent you are performances affect the fans.
Syah29 (Arsenal) 1 year ago
Need to improve at the defender.... Thomas vermalen will back...
Catenaccio (Chelsea) 1 year ago
By the way, the commentator is WRONG--he is NOT a 'yard offside'.... The FAR defender (at least on the Sapo. Pt replay) -- is that Song? -- is playing him just onside, as he is level with that defender!
