It was a good two years while it lasted. But a combination of no desire, fight, and above all no skill will see us go to a few seasons of championship mid-table obsrcuity....

I don't think Villa played too well, but they didn't need too, diabolical defending and their own easy passing game allowed them to win comfotably

I think hull were unlucky and villa defended well but that's football you can't change it !

That was a close match and the round of shots that were all blocked were amazing! That injury looked really bad and Hesselink got knocked out and was bleeding all over. Agbonlahor's goal really amazed me from that angle too. Villa have been so good this season, and are putting up real fights. Good luck Villa in getting that 4th spot, good luck hull in getting out of relegation. I love unpredictable matches

We played as well as we had to bring on the noses

I don't particularly like the way Aston Villa chooses to play their football tactically, but the way they execute it is astonishingly exceptional. I don't think they get the credit they deserve for some of the quality they show. They play very much like a classic Italian league team plays, but with an English twist.... I'm becoming more and more a fan of the "anti-football" team known as Aston Villa
