Because in real time play it looked like a penalty and only on the benefit of our relaxed at home tv replays WE actually saw it wasn't and when your that near the box you don't look down to see that your in for a penalty all you do is look towards the ref for the call. Had it been called a free-kick would you have said he dived as well, he was tripped and the ref made a judgemnet call and it was a wrong call but these calls happen every day in some game around the world.

You gotta' give credit to ronaldo though its a smart play on his part. He feels the contact outside the box but falls into the box putting the ref in a tough position.

I mean you really can't expect the ref to be able to get that call right everytime. If anything the linesmen was in a better position but he was prob more focused on the offsides than the ball

@ Pedmar, would you have said the same thing if this incident happened in favour of Barcelona? Mourinho is now on the spotlight whenever Real get such decision because he's been shouting conspiracy all year long so now he's forced to make a comment after every incident in favor of his team.

In La Liga, Madrid gets the highest number of penalties every season.... Why is that so? And we are we all calling Barca players cheat when real gets more penalties every season? Ronaldo vs AC was a play acting, Di Maria? So many incidents but Mourinho seems to forget those

Madrid defence is awesome right now, one of the best out there, in the top 5 if you ask me, they had a bad day, just as barca did, probably cause of internation duty, the only team which gives our defence a hard time is barcelona, and that's cause their attack is phenomenal

Well said, sir. In the end the results speak for themselves. Despite all the mocking anyone on each of the aforementioned teams get, they prove their abilities on the field. So yes, Madrid's backline is usually solid, and yes, Valdez is a pretty darn good keeper, etc. Etc. Ad nauseum opposing all the popular criticisms with little rationale backing.

(Sorry to bring up Barca, just thought it was a good, kind of similar comparison)
