Isn't messi's ability to score affected by the passes that he receives from his teammates? If messi does not get those passes he can't threaten the opponents's goal and cr7 is the same for 2 seasons now how many times have you seen cr7 take the ball from halfline and score ans is 0. Just like all goal scorers they need the support of their teammates. But for a goal machine that is cr7 it will always be difficult against barca because of the style barca has. Madrid knows how to play but when playing barca you 1st have to get past that possession game and that's extremely hard. Too much chasing to really do something when you get the ball from barca you then practically give it right back trying to force something against them.

Let madrid have more patience against barca and then u'll have your answer about cr7's performances against you
