I never knew he signed for them on my birthday! Haha! Anyway, Anderson is a brilliant footballer. When he came to Manchester United, he was supposed to be an attacking midfielder but in his first few months he didn't score one goal. But his passing and his vision was great, and he had skills too, but he was dropped as Carrick and Scholes bossed the midfield and he barely ever started. Now he plays in the centre of midfield, liable to score goals but not arrogant, doesn't want every chance he can get, and he tries to play as a team. Manchester United weren't like they are now without him. He makes them play better in fact, and he is one of Manchester United's best midfielders, if not the best after Ryan Giggs

I think this guy has tonnes of potential. I think he is over-looked. Most of the people only mocks him for not scoring goals, but they don't look at his good passing ability. He is a very good passer, good vision and also his shots are fair enough. Sum up these, there you have a very good mid-fielder. And he is hard working, consistent and unselfish too. He is ready to give 100% for the team. He is unselfish-but still everybody moans about him. So sad.... Maybe because he is a brazilian and the fans expect a 'Dinho from him...

He's a quality holding midfielder. He makes some fantastic passes and can hold the midfield down well enough to start for United. He does have his bad games though.... But who doesn't really. His main goal is not to score loads of goals, but to maintain possession and make plays happen. He has done well for United and it'd be nice to see more goals coming from him in the near future

He, [C.] ronaldo and nani came to united but only cr7 shined.... The rest a flop signing by fergie! Lol

I like Ando. Defensively tough, and threatening when he pushes forward. Great ability to find passing lanes and as Yogan09 and Pragathish said he is an unselfish team player. Always gas a good work rate and busts his backside when he needs to cover the ground.
I think he gets a rub at times because he has lacked some consistency and at times has a low percentage of complete passes.
I think you have to consider his age as well. He is only 22, right? Give him some more time. I think he is a great fit for United.
The other aspect of Ando, is he has a zest for life and brings a much needed sense of humor to the gang at Old Trafford

I think Anderson didn't adapt 100% at united but he is young and he has enough time to do it. By watching him play I think he can become the new paul scoles if he has a little more courage. He he scared to shoot at the goal but when he does it he scores some magnificent goals...

I find this guy is immensely underrated by not only many fans, but by SAF. He always makes a major difference in uniteds play and is pretty solid as a holding midfielder. Unfortunatly he is behind in the pecking order after fletcher and carrick, but I must say that he should be starting over at least one of these guys. Sure both of them may be slightly better defensively, but he adds alot of creativity, and anyone who watches united's matches knows that the old trafford club desperatly needs some more creativity from midfield this season. He may not score many goals, but he does make a big difference when he is on the field
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 2 years ago
One of the best players and underrated players at this moment. He is strong, attackive and very dependable. He plays a hard role for a young player. People judge him by the number of goals
ManUK (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Agreed (But he did score ONE ) He's definitely underrated. For a Brasilian he's very aggressive, Brilliant passer, a real playmaker. And very attacking, Iove that about him.

Go Anderson! Show 'em son!

He is an amazing player. But unfortunatly he has gone down the pecking order. Behind Carrick and Fletcher

Eventhough Ando is a brilliant player of many kinds and a real asset to the club, he still has to - in my opinion - take his game to the next level. The international climate of clubs demands every bit of brilliancy of each and every player today! There are no "sentimental-rooms" to be "resting in", i`m afraid, and as much as I love the lad and his game I still be waiting for the BIG blossom!
Man United is a tremendous club and demands the same level by the players.... (ask Nani about it, ha ha....)
