There are a lot of talented and rock solid defenders currently, but what order would you put them in? Who would you exclude? And why?
It can be any defender, Centre back, Full back, Wing back and Sweeper

Good list.... But not terry, not ferdinand for sure.... Might add evra in there, and carragher...

Nowadays, my top 10 Current Defenders is :

1) John Terry: he's influent, has a good vison of the game and is antipate very good !
He's a world class defender !

2) Patrice Evra: to me the best left back, solid, a real soldier. He has to do the same job for France's team.

3) Puyol: Another soldier, who got experience.

4) Vidic: This one he's good agressiv in the good or the bad way lol ! I think he afraids strikers.

5) Douglas Maicon: the best Right wing back you can find today !

6) Philippe Mexès: Always present, he's strong ! But I don't like is hair cut !

7) Giorgio Chiellini: Like him, a shame for me he's Italian. Sometimes to agressiv....

8) Philip Lahm: a smart wing back, who's polyvalent.

9) José Bosingwa: Simply !

10) Sebastien Squillaci: he's got talent, but he's like Escudé underate !

He's strong, but not one of my favourite ! I prefer Maicon or Bosingwa.
Last year Dani Alves was to nervous in semi final against chelsea.... But I admit he's good !
If you want, 11: Dani Alves, he assissts, run, defend he is almost complete as a wing back. Sometimes, he plays to easy.... Almost Lazy ! Lol

Terry should not be in there.... He is good, but not top 10 good
