Your Premiership XI?
Seantoon (Real Madrid) 2 months ago
--------------------Given--------------------
--Beye---Terry---Gallas---A. Cole--
-Lennon--Diaby--Fabregas--Young-
-----------Torres---van Persie-----------

I think this is the best Premier League XI at the moment.... ^_^
Please tell me if you agree with me, and if not please tell me your XI !

Adamaus (Manchester United) 2 months ago
Pretty sure we have like 5 of these topic about the "worlds best XI" or the "EPL XI" etc etc etc...
Illskillz718 (Barcelona) 2 months ago
That's a solid starting XI. I like the fact that you didn't put some of the "usual suspects" that are always put on these lists. It's interesting you put Diaby even though he had that own goal. I'm assuming he's your holding midfielder. I would put Essien or Barry in that position, or if I wanted to keep it an arsenal player, Song.

I'm interested in knowing who you would put on your bench
Alen (Liverpool) 2 months ago
Yeah the other one is England XI so this one shall stay open nice lineup btw you need Gerrard in the mid there
Matt (Southampton) 2 months ago
I am shocked about how many 'bests' Van Persie makes. He is without doubt a talented player but he does have some faults which pull him back from being one of the best.
Not least of all his complete inability (probably more pyschological than anything else) to shoot with his right leg which he even dubs his 'chocolate leg'.

So i'd swap him with current form striker Defoe and Johnson who has been Liverpools best player in for Beye
Yidarmy4lyf (Tottenham Hotspur) 2 months ago
1 word ''beye''!

Hahaha, I love how biased your team is to chelsea, its still a good squad though
Illskillz718 (Barcelona) 2 months ago
Hmmm let's see....
It's a 4-3-3 fomation:

----------van der Sar---------
Sagna--Terry--Vidic--A. Cole
---------------Barry--------------
---Gerrard---------Fabregas---
A. Young---Torres---Arshavin

Subs: Clichy, Bosingwa, Essien, Modric,

Zach (Manchester United) 2 months ago
How do Joe Hart, Kalou, Eboue, Aurelio and Nani make the best 11 bench, when they all ride the bench on their prospective teams (Hart on loan)?
Zach (Manchester United) 2 months ago
4-4-2 with very attacking wingers

----Howard----
Rafael-Hangeland-Vidic-Evra
A. Young-Lampard-Cahill-Arshavin
--Rooney--Torres--

FORZAJUVEPIERO (Juventus) 2 months ago
I must concur with your assessment UgoDroPiero. Well done!
Zach (Manchester United) 2 months ago
Good team but I have to disagree with James and Gallas. I'd put Given, VDS, Howard, Reina and Cech above James, maybe even Schwarzer
Mattdog87 (Manchester United) 2 months ago
Nah I would definitely leave gallas in there with his current form. Well done, is a great looking squad
Bendit14 (Real Madrid) 2 months ago
Its great. BUT 2002-2004 was the best
Buddy (Arsenal) 2 months ago

Pretty much bias to Everton. But here's my squad

--------------Essien--------------

----Lampard------------Fabregas---

--------------Gerrard--------------

-------Drogba----------Torres------

Manager: Sir Alex

Subs: Ferdinand, Arshavin, Defoe, A. Young, Bosingwa

Ground: Stamford Bridge

Wow only two players out of the top 4. And a very attack minded squad.
I would love to see this squad play though. Just one season, see how it all pans out then back to the respective clubs.

ImnotWalkinAlon (Liverpool) 2 months ago
GK: Reina; His record says it all.
Rb: Johnson; Offensive minded, capable of scoring. Runs all day.
Cb: Terry; At his prime, great awareness, can defend and attack corner
Cb: Vidic; Very intelligent defensive player, read the game well.
Lb: Evra; Great tackle, support the attack well.
Dm: Marscherano; deploys to mark opponent striker
Rm: Lennon; Speed demon, dribbling and crossing
Cm: Fabregas; Arguably the best play maker in EPL
Lm: Arshavin; Dangerous from outside the box
Am: Gerrard; The core, heart and soul of the team. Sparks the win or comeback.
St: Torres; The best striker in EPL, maybe in the world.

Subs:
Gk: David James
Def: Carra, Ferdinand
Mid: Lampard, Barry
St: Drogba, Rooney

Manager: Harry Redknapp. Follow his trail, see how great he manages the team even with limited resources.
ImnotWalkinAlon (Liverpool) 2 months ago
Any team leaving Gerrard out is missing out...
Andydelz (AC Milan) 2 months ago
Can't agree.... Chelsea fans will tell you otherwise...
SCBlue (Chelsea) 2 months ago
As a Chelsea supporter I will tell you Gerrard it tops in the league and the world. Anyone who says otherwise knows nothing of football. Liverpuddle would be s**te without Gerrard
ImnotWalkinAlon (Liverpool) 2 months ago
Amen to that SCBlue. I'm not bias just because I'm a Liverpool fan but the way I see it, SG can carry the team on his shoulder. Check the statistic, if he's not playing, how's Liverpool doing? Nothing but crap
