Yellow Card For Dives............
Yidarmy4lyf (Tottenham Hotspur) 2 years ago
I see this every week & it really irrotates me, you see a player dive in the box & not get a card or penalty, I thought you were meant to get one or the other, but the majority of the time they seem to get away with it, the only solution is to book as soon a player dives, if its a penalty then give it & book the perpitrator.

Has anyone else got a different solution to stop this happening? ....

Well lucas got a yellow yestaday as the ref thought he dived when he never. Its not really gonna' end diving. Its gonna' couse more confusion and conflict when there is a genuine tackle.

But I do agree- diving should be abolished

Yeah, but didn't another liverpol player dive & didn't get booked, that's my point, the inconsistency, they should always get booked for diving. No excuses

I think diving should be stopped for good and the only way that's gonna' happen is if the fa bring in some rule that indicates you get a fine and a ban for diving! Some get a penalty for going down in the box when they havent been touched and that isn't right, but when the referee realises he would get a ban anyway so that's why this is a good rule to have in my opinion anyway. Besides, lucas is a crap player

Only wait to stop this is to introduce Video Coverage and Live Replays for Officials

I totally agree with putting an end to diving and I thought earlier this year the FA were spot on to hand Arsenal's Eduardo a three game match ban after his dive in the UEFA qualifiers against Celtic. But Wenger appealed it and waved his magic wand and made it all go away. A step in the wrong direction I feel

It's not true. Maybe the players dives because he got in contact with the opposite player. But if he doesn't call for a penalty he shouldn't be booked, it's not fair
