Who Should Man City Try To Buy

They were going for Kaka.
I think they should get a world class
Striker, winger, and center back.
Maybe David Villa, Ribery, and someone
Like Terry at the back. With so much money
They should offer for multiple world class
Wingers, strikers, and center backs, so
They can get one of each otherwise they
Won't get anybody. So far Manchester City
Have got nothing with their money, but Robinho

They should buy young up and coming prospects instead of players who are in their prime. Manchester City can't expect to become one of the best teams right away. They should buy great prospect and slowly they'll go up. There no Chelsea when they got bought by the Russian.

They might get Villa or Silva or maybe both, since Valencia is pretty much broke

It is insanely difficult getting world class players to join a club where Champions League football isn't virtually guaranteed, let alone European football. I think Man City will only manage to get semi-starlets, unfulfilling prospects and golden oldies by the end of summer.

With Kaka, I don't think he will be moving anywhere if Brazil make it to sa2010, ACMilan are world-leaders in terms of sports technology/sports science and he has peaked age-wise. The facilities at Milan are right for him and this is his time to shine, he has the opportunity to lead Brazil and further cement his legacy

Agreed. I almost think theres no way they will get players such as Kaka, Messi, or whoever is on their list. They need to look out there for good players playing on not so world class teams.

Why not Cassno, Deigo Capel, Denis, Lavezzi, Hamsik, Santi Cazorla, Nihat, Maxi Rodríguez, Simão, Luís Fabiano, Mamadou Niang, and so many out there?

Ya, Kaka already snubbed city and there would be a real fallout with the likes of Galliani and Burlesconi if they let him move. The fans were already pretty mad about that first attempt by City so I doubt that he would even consider moving when he has everything he needs (and more) at AC Milan

They should build at the back.... They have some decent attacking prospects but their defence is god awful. They need a good to world class center back as well as a good to world class midfielder and a striker won't hurt

Nesta has been plagued by injuries or he would still be a world class center back. I was thinking but that may be a good idea because he would offer a big name as well as being decent enough and will be able to offer guidance to the younger players like richards and onuoha and kompany.

Maybe they should get cannavaro on a free because he is not likely going to stay at real madrid although I think he will probably move back to italy and play for napoli maybe his hometown team

Yea he is freakin old but maybe he could offer a presence. The idea of getting cannavaro and nesta is more of getting a big name rather than a good player because if other stars see cannavaro and nesta at man city, they might want to play there

For centerback? Not really there aren't any plausible ones they would be able to get. Although Breno of Bayern, Zapata of Udinese and Mertesacker of Werder Bremen are good prospects but as for a world class now, I don't see them getting one.

Maybe Mexes although he is not world class or Raul Albiol whose not world class either. Maybe they could get Alex of Chelsea or.

Not that many world class center backs right now. Can only think of Ferdinand, Vidic, Terry, Gallas (yes I do believe at his game he is a world class cb), Carvalho, Pepe (maybe) so not that many

Yea he's really young but doubt bayern will let him go or if they do, he'll be expensive as they just recently bought him.

The rumours have been that Arsenal are going for Mamadou Sakho, the 19 year old PSG captain. He is one of the brightest center back prospects in world football

I would be extremely excited if we sign him although I would rather have a more experienced CB but he is seen as the next Lilian Thuram and if that is true, I would gladly welcome him to Arsenal

He goes in the legends bracket. One of the best defenders ever. Had one of the best positional sense in football, rarely had to make a last ditch tackle. Sadly he had to retire because of a heart problem but luckily doctors found out about it. His brother passed away because of the same condition he has
