I want to see Kris Boyd come to Liverpool would be way cheaper then Samuel Eto'o and could still score loads of goals, plus we have torres we don't need another giant name like Eto'o and we work better with a one striker system

Mmm.... I really do doubt Kris Boyd will be going anywhere, and if he did, he would never be able to replicate his goal-scoring record in the PL.

I think he is an out-and-out striker when you don't place a world class defence up against him.

Diego Forlan, the Atletico Madrid striker, is poised to return to the Premier League, with Liverpool keen to obtain his services.

According to Sport, Forlan already has a verbal agreement with the Reds and the only stumbling block is an agreement between the two clubs.

Forlan currently has a release clause of €36 million, and Atletico intend to hold out for every penny. However, they could settle for a deal of €24 million plus Lucas Leiva, who has interested Atleti in the past.

Forlan is enjoying arguably his best season in the Spanish top-flight, having scored 25 league goals thus far, placing him second on the top scorers list. Should he join Liverpool, he will link up with Fernando Torres, whom he replaced at Atletico.

Of course, Forlan already has experience of England having played for Manchester United, although he only managed to score 10 goals in 63 appearances.
