6 month ago, just before the World Cup, I wrote this about Hapoel Tel Aviv's amazing Nigerian goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama:
"Vinecent Enyeama is Nigeria's goalkeeper which will primer in the coming World Cup. He is currently playing or the Israeli club Hapoel Tel Aviv. As a fan of HTA, I really think that Enyeama can become one of the world's top goalkeepers. He has amazing reflexes, great skills and is a born leader. He won Israel's Player of the Year in 2009 and won the a recent Double with a dramatic finish to the IPL last night. I wouldn't be surprised if following a convincing performance in South Africa he will move to a European club next season, seeing as Galatasaray, Espanyol and Arsenal have taken interest in him last season. A short clip:
"
No one really paid any attention, but after his great performance against Argentina and Messi people started talking. Here is a clip to that match:
However, Hapoel qualified for the Champions League and he agreed to stay for one more season to get more European experience. Two days ago, in Hapoel's last champions league game vs Lyon (in France), he gave another amazing performance, stopping Lyon time after time. In the 2 goals Lyon scored, he could do nothing. Here is a link to that match:
Now, what do you think of him? Does he have what it takes to make it to a big club? I think he does, especially when many top-clubs are lacking in the Goalkeeper department. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if he'll be in Arsenal a few years from now. Your thoughts?
I think he is an amazing goalkeeper and his reflexes are jaw dropping. Funny enough, I got to know this guy through Football Manager, where I bought him for peanuts for my Arsenal squad and he was insane (that was like 2 years ago). It would be amazing if that would happen in real life!
