Van Persie Has Potential To Be The Best
VanPersie (Arsenal) 2 years ago
Hi I'm not just starting up another stupid thread like most people do when they talk about " The best player" but ohnestly who actuley thinks van persie could be the best player in the world, he has all the skill unlike most strikers who are just good finishes van persie has the edge over all defenders, he can skin create and shoot he is the total footballer.... I ohnestly belivie if he had not been injured this season he would have had a season like wayne rooney has had. What other striker do you know that can twist away from a defender and unleash a complete thunderer bolt on target. What I find most fascinating about RVp is that he has the most amazing assists record when he is on the pitch for arsenal 1/3 of the goals they score are created by him his assist record is greater the the great CESC and he is supposed to be the one of the most potent midfielders in europe and he pulls the strings for arsenal but RVp still manages to outclass him in assists! I find that the one thing that stops RVp exploding into the legends is his ability to get injured.... Guys you may think I'm speaking complete rubbish but have you ever seen a player come back from injury and change a game that much! Arsenal were down and out till he completley lifted and changed the whole games.... Am I speaking complete rubbish?

No.... I don't think you are talking rubbish. That match was too depressing.... I just stopped watching, he did come on and change things that's for sure. Yes and probably if he wasn't injured he would be one of the best this season. Maybe not the best in the world but one of the best...

No you aren't talking crap. I'm a big admirer of RVP, just like you. I just love his team-work, and determination;the stats don't lie-as you said he manages to assist more than Cesc!I think he is one of those under-rated superstars, like Totti. He started this season explosively netting goals, and I was the happiest person to see. The happiness didn't last long and was eventually doomed by a f*****g injury. I bet if he wasn't injured, he would have been in the list which currently contains Drog, Rooney, Diego Milito, etc.
I especially love his technique, and I consider him as one of the world's best left-footers.
The best is yet to come. Watch out for the next season

However good he is, I find him injury prone. But this guy ooze class when he plays. Too bad Arsenal always has bad luck with injuries. If not, they could be first and not 3rd right now...

Juno is right

You're saying the truth RVP got the potential to be the best.

I agree with Juno.... Also, anyone can see in the match against Spurs RVP brought the team back to the game

I never disliked van, but I never liked his as much, but yestaday I saw a great dutch perfomance. He exploded on the pitch, as if all arsenals had been given a new life, ofcourse it was too late. But he showed great determination and infuisiasm, I wish he had the ability to beat defenders but I guess that is only thing between him and the best.

He has potential to be one, but not "the". Even if he worked his butt off for it. He is a good finisher, he has quality but seriously, he isn't even as good as Rooney. He just needs to get more involved in play, and maybe he would have a better chance. Needs to get more in there. He scores goals but that doesn't just make a good footballer

Sorry yogan but that is not what Van persie is about, he does not just score goals he creates goals as well.... And I agree a little bit about getting invloved in play he does need to get a liitle more busyier

RVP has been plagued by injuries his whole career, however if not for these injuries, I really do think he would be rated as one of the top players in the world. He is a sick striker. So good all around. Unfortunatly, not just this season, he just can't stay fit
