My opinion short: - Getting world's best players like they did in 2005, might not bring something powerful to the field. Unless, Real Madrid doesn't put playing real football its #1 priority.... I guess they will make good profit selling their T-shirts.
- Along recent history, most top players' performance go down after they "feel" they acomplished everything, (e. G. Best player in world, Champions leage, e. T. See) So wouldn't Frank Rebery deal to Madrid be better than getting players who were already great like Kaka/ Cristiano are. Football doesn't want "names, " but rather real playing.
- Cristiano for 80 mill p. Was the best deal for Man Utd while will be the worst thing to Madrid. Man utd, used the best out of this guy, then sold him for the highest price ever.... Congrats sir.
A word for Perez, it's your money.... But some I guess there're better places in this world than to spend it like that. ----- Thanks, Comment / tell me what you think
Just heard on sky sports from some guy that essentially if ronaldo can win the champions league with madrid or even get to the fianl consecutively for the next few years, it will pay back madrid with plus, and essentially the cost for ronaldo will be essentially nothing
Dear god in heaven, I am praying that perez buys defenders. If madrid has too many of. Midfielders/strikers/forwards, and no defence, we'll have somebody amazing (like hunetelaar or higuain) warming the bench
They fail by all being ego-maniacs, thinking that they have to prove themselves for a place in the starting 11, that's where they compete against each other and end up not only losing their place, but also the game.... That's what I'm hoping for
"the fact that madrid don't do extensive research into players, their style of play and how they think they will fit into a squad means that, buying the worlds best players (each who expect that the squad is to be built around themselves) is destined to fail. Look at when united bought Veron, classic example. "
Remember the galacticos They didn't win too much, but they played, without a doubt, the best football around. I seriously think that buying ronaldo and kaka was a good thing, as long as it stops there. I don't support getting Ribery or Villa.
Also, theres too many offensive players that need to be sold now
You guys are crazy if you don't think that there not going be better what are they not going pass the ball to each other even if they do they can all kill any defence 1 on 1 lol
If Ribery goes, here's where he'd play. ______Raul__Hunteleaar____ __________Kaka____________ Ribery__v. D. Vaart__Ronaldo ? ___? ___Cannavaro__S. Ramos
Oh yeah, and at least they have 4 20mil p. + players in the midfield (Robben, Guti, Snejder, Gago), but here's your possibilities for defence: -Marcello, Drenthe, Javi Garcia, Heinze, Pepe, Metzelder, Salgad, and Torres
-So, who will play defence? I'm particularly worried about the left side, that's where those winger/striker studs tend to play in Primera, and they seriously need to cean house in the midfield
