Pick-a-winner Super League - Improved Version - Join Now!
Billiam (Chelsea) 5 years ago
So a few of you here may have seen the old Pick-a-winner game, this will be very similar to that, but will include more ways to earn points, a wider range of games to pick from, and a completely new format. Here's the rules:

Playing is simple: Over the course of the game pick 3 matches from the upcoming weekend(10 matches), and post who you think will win them. The scoring points besides each fixture represent the points you score if the corresponding team wins.

Example picks - Say that weekend the fixtures were:
Chelsea vs Sunderland(2-17)
Everton vs Arsenal(14-4)
Barca vs Atletico M(7-13)
Man city vs Birmingham(5-15)
Ajax vs PSV (10-10)
Stoke vs Liverpool(14-6)
Roma vs Lazio(10-10)
West Ham vs Blackpool(11-8)
Wolves vs Bolton(13-6)

Then [Player 1] comes along and makes these picks:
Paw01 Sunderland over Chelsea
Paw02 Liverpool over Stoke
Paw03 Lazio over Roma

Then say these were the results:
Chelsea 0-3 Sunderland
Liverpool 0-2 Stoke
Lazio 2-2 Roma
[Player 1] would get 17 points from Sunderland, 0 points from Liverpool(Because he got it wrong) and 3 points from Lazio(Points were halved because it was a draw). Total score of 20 for that week. Get it?

Before posting picks, check that the matches haven't started yet.

A pick that is posted after a match started is invalid and may be replaced.

Anyone can join, I'm thinking of doing a knockout format. Just comment on this post saying "In" and you're entered into the 1st week
