Great thread title, Stephen!

All joking aside this is an outrageous sacking, if it's true. Neither party has confirmed or denied it but that usually is closer to a confirmation than a denial. This bloke has achieved back-to back promotions at Peterborough and has just signed a new 4-year deal. Why not give him a little time to make an impression?! What could the board have been expecting of him, for crying out loud?! They're a small club that would do well to survive this year and Ferguson is a very highly-rated young manager. I really hope he bounces back from this setback and continues to progress as a manager

I find it hard to believe peterboro have let df go, after all he has done for a club that was going nowhere.
I think he probably took the club as far as he could, due to the lack of funds.
I actually think he is too good a manager for peterboro, and its their loss, he, ll be hard to replace.
And especially when you think of the good relationship between barry fry and saf.
Oh well, we been shocked before.
Good luck darren
