Newcastle Are Champions 2010
Tatetastic2 (Newcastle United) 2 years ago
Newcastle have gone 1 step further to become champions of of the championship 2010 and going back to where they belong - Prem League.

6-0 up against Barnsley good win today, only 12 games remaining can't see us losing it?

It doesn't seem they can screw it up.... So I say they're pretty much back to the top tier.... But the question now is, will they stay?

Buy a few players and I would say they have the best chance out of all the promoted teams

I thought a long time ago the geordies would go up, they had a little blip for a few games, but it seems none of the other teams could capitalise on it, and now newcastle have taken off again leaving the rest in their wake.
Good luck to them, they and their fans have had a very hard time over the last few years.
It will be great to see them back in the prem, they have too good a fanbase, and ground to be wallowing in the championship

If I were the Championship I wouldn't want those nasty yellow away kits associated with me either....

But good for Newcastle. I wouldn't mind seeing them become one of those healthy mid-level teams in the Premiership in the next couple years. We'll see how it goes down I guess.

Sheffield Wednesday will prevail!
No I am joking, but I do hope that they do well.... I don't think it is over yet.... Derby, Forest and Swansea haven't quite said their last words yet

Which table you looking at Lol

Derby 30 points behind got zip chance

Swansea 16 points behind very little chance to get runner up spot

Forest 8 points behind + we have game in hand, and they got t come to the home of the passionate footy fans, so that will make it 11 points behind, so little chance I guess.

Truth is this is a very poor league, standard of football is bad, we should have never be where we are, but on a good note it has made us stronger as a club and as supporters, roll on the prem league

I actually meant West Brom.... I always get those two mixed up...

Do you think that the level of competition between the Championship and League 1 is too similar? Because I'm starting to think there's too may teams that belong in the lower league of the two that keep afloat year after year...

That could be the reason why clubs relegated the year before are the most probable teams to get promote back the next year if they are able to retain the players. The gulf between EPL and the Championship is too great

That's great news. I've quietly been checking the stats in the League Championship all year hoping to see the Magpies back where they belong. Although after last years season Newcastle needed to regain their composure and prove that the EPL is their home. Well Done Newcastle! See you next year

Well, of course. Newcastle are definitely the best Championship team there is. There's no way they can screw up

We NEED wholesale Changes to survive in the EPL, team just not good enough, we are playing okay, but if any of the other teams had half a strike force we would be in a different boat, maybe sinking LOL, really happy with our performance so far, so realy can't complain, COME ON THE EPL
