NEW GAME --- Survival Soccer (Round 1)

OK I've heard alot of rumors about this forum becoming inactive, and I kinda miss running a game (I used to run GoonerGames) so I've thought of a new game to play. The game is very simple.

You pick 1 winner each week (Monday-Sunday). Too easy? Well here's the catch: every player gets only 1 life to begin with! So make 1 mistake and you're out! It's a simple game, but you have to pick wisely!

Along with this, you also predict the score of the match you picked. If you get the winner and score right, you will gain a life!

After the second week, to speed up the game, only players with the 4 highest lives will remain!
After the third week, the top 2 players will remain! After the fourth week, a winner will be announced!

Correct Prediction --- No Change
Wrong Prediction --- -1 life
Correct Prediction + Correct Score --- +1 life

Game Details
Acceptable Leagues: BPL, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Champions League, Europa League
Start Date: February 7th
End Date: Until we have 1 winner or March 6th (whichever comes first)

Sj I was thinking to make it a bit harder why you take away 2 of the big teams from each league, to stop everyone picking Barca every week, they are practically a guaranteed win! It would be a bit harder to start picking from the teams that don't sit at the top of the league!
Just a thought because I reckon most people would go for Barca most weeks!
