The most bookings in a match was when tongham youth club played hawley on November 3, 1969. The ref book all 22 players, and one of the lines men. One player even went to the hospital! After the match, a player said that the match was "a good, hard game. " it was won by tongham 2-0. Also, in a world cup match in 2006, netherlands vs portugal, 4 red cards were awarded, and 16 yellow cards!
It was awesome. The immiture person inside me found it absoulotley hillarious. So many bookings. So many cards.... It was just so random when I expected seeing a competitive game. Lol a classic
Haha Yea! I totally was laughing my head off thinking is this the world cup or the circus. Seriously I don't know what happened to 22 men out there. Deco and Gio where chatting away on the sidelines after being sent off it was insane
Once when I was watching match of the day, after it, you know they do all those stuff like talk about skills etc, he showed us this guy, he got three yellow cards abd on they third one he got sent off. That guy who was referee in that match must have about the memory soan of a goldfish (three seconds)
