Karim Benzema And David Silva To Manchester United?
Prophet88 (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Just got this news, its still a rumor but more of a possibility.

The reason they are stating this likelihood is because Benzema on one hand is not getting enough first team play, whereas Valencia are in financial crisis so they have to sell Silva. So any of you think this might workout?
Hill (Arsenal) 2 years ago
Not really. I thought United were having financial troubles too...
Prophet88 (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Yes, they do have financial troubles too but David Gill, the CEO of United did say that funds from Ronaldo's transfer would be made available to Sir Alex. So you never know
Hill (Arsenal) 2 years ago
Well. I suppose I can see one of the two, but certainly not both
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 2 years ago
Benzema could be outta' there. He has been watching hiquain score fabulous goals from the side lines, so you never know.

For silva, no idea lol. Gonna' be preety expensive though, he gets paid a f**k load at valencia
Yogan (Chelsea) 2 years ago
I don't think this deal will happen. Silva is a great player, Man United could do with him although Nani's been in stunning form. Benzema needs to get more first team football but then where would Berba or Owen go. And I don't think rooney would work with him well
Juno (AC Milan) 2 years ago
However said, Ferguson could always give Owen the boot. Since I believe he's on a pay as you play contract. Then he'll have a place to keep Benzema. It's better than having a sicknote in the squad right?
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 2 years ago
Benzema is a better choice for offence then some one like bera. I like berba, but when rooney is dead, who is gonna' do the finishing? United can build up the play.... But desperatley need some one to finish them scoring chances.

ManUK (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Exactly my thinking, berba doesn't score goals as much as a true striker should. He's more of a hold the ball support player, he's good but when Rooney's injured we still need someone to do the finishing. Look the Rooney injury ruined our whole season pretty much. We need more depth, we need someone who can finish. Benzema
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 2 years ago
I could actually very much see this happening lol
ManUK (Manchester United) 2 years ago
IT better. Something's gotta' happen
ManUK (Manchester United) 2 years ago
I dunno but one of the two would be awesome. At this point we need more depth, If Rooney gets injured we're dead
Juno (AC Milan) 2 years ago
Becoming more and more like Liverpool huh?

If Manchester United get Benzema there is no way I would want him to get before berbatov. That would just be a waste of good talent like they have now. He would be a good fit and I'm sure him and Rooney would work together.... At least better than what they have now
Adamaus (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Of course he would, when rooney is fit berba is getting alot of first team anyway
Ltm017 2 years ago
Sorry I meant it the other way around. I wouldn't want berbatov before Benzema if he came to United. Benzema is just a better player than Berbatov.... I don't think Berbatov fits at United at all. He shoudl just leave. When Rooney is not there players like Benzema would be a good fit. Even when Rooney is there Benzema would be taking shots at goal when the opportunity comes his way...
Soccergal293 (Barcelona) 2 years ago
I think David Silva should go to Liverpool, he would shape things up a bit there more than it would help Manchester United...
Prophet88 (Manchester United) 2 years ago
I think if we were to get just one of either, it would be more advisable to get Benzema rather than Silva. Benzema would ease alot of pressure from rooney and allow him to play his natural game. Silva on the other wouldn't be needed as of now because Nani and Valencia both are in good form and to add to it Gibson is getting some 1st team time too
Kimaway17 (Liverpool) 2 years ago
Benzema is overrated. So I don't think he will help united. They should keep Rooney. Then play a forward 3 of Valencia Rooney Nani/Park. But Silva would be a great addition
Ltm017 2 years ago
No Silva would be better for Liverpool
Juno (AC Milan) 2 years ago
Nani, Park and Valencia are not strikers which could get ManUtd goals galore.... Fergie expect Berba to do that, but diminishes his threat via using a wrong formation. But Benzema is not overrated. He is that damn good. Strong, pacy, good on the ball. A little more precision and calmness in his finishing and he along with Rooney can be the twin terror. Maybe Fergie should get Berba to play right below the top two to form a small trinity as their attack. Berba certainly has the creativity to link up the play...

United will not be getting rid of Rooney; especially not for an unproven youngster like Benzema
Eric (Manchester United) 2 years ago
United will have the money to make transfers. I wouldn't be surprised to see neither of these deal go through. Benzema would be a good signing, but I'm sure he'd much rather more of a guarantee of first team football. While I'm sure he would get games with United, he might not get as many as he would want. Remember Tevez.... If only he wasn't owned by a businessman. Anyway, I'd love to see Benzema paired with Rooney to see if they can work together.

Silva would be an extraneous signing for United. We've got a lot of quality in the wings:
-Nani is finally hitting his form.... Finally
-Valencia has been delivering quality crosses all season, once he learns to finish he'll be a monster on the wings
-Obertan is a youngster playing for our reserves and looks to be very promising.
-Giggsy is old but still quality, though he's been in a bit of a rut recently
-Park is a hard worker always

Anyway, that's enough to prove my point. He'd be a good signing, of course, to have on the bench but a completely unnecessary/expensive one
ManUK (Manchester United) 2 years ago
I think we could afford someone new of quality in the center. I don't know what happened to Anderson, and Carrick has been invisible this season, and hargreaves will never not be injured it seems. I'd like some dutch quality in there, they fit our style nicely, Van der Varrt or Sniejder?
Juno (AC Milan) 2 years ago
They probably need more bite in center midfield I agree
VanPersie (Arsenal) 2 years ago
I think benzema actuley played quite well for madrid in the few chances he got to play. It's just the problem is hiquain is playing exceptional and is on such a rich vain of form their is no real room for Karim Benzema. I hope he does not move beacasue I think he could be a real succes at madrid if he was given a descent chance to shine
