Is Ben Foster Ready?
Yamsy (Liverpool) 4 years ago
Joe Hart on the other hand, wasn't as good in the game...
Redrocky519 (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Foster had a really good game today against Birmingham city.... He was really comfortable when catching the crosses and clearing the ball compared to last time. Plus he had a really good save that saved ManUtd's ass
Helmie83 (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Yup I agree with that....
He need more games under his belt....
Considering he is still inexperienced goalkeepers(lack games)
I think he will grow up and what he need also a little confidence to
Dictate the game play through his footworks.... Haha....

An encouraging performance with a clean sheet against Birmingham.

A run of games in the 1st team will only benefit Foster.

I'm much more impressed with Fosters footwork and overall performance today. My heart still comes up into my throat when they pass or head the ball back to him though
Yamsy (Liverpool) 4 years ago
Yea, he collected the balls quite well from crosses...

I do think Foster has excellent abilities, but he lacks the focus during games.

Just drifting abit, I do think Joe Hart is a great prospect.

Yea I do too
Yamsy (Liverpool) 4 years ago
Me too, I think Joe is a better prospect of a England GK...
Yamsy (Liverpool) 4 years ago
Well, maybe Foster and Kusczak won't get anohter chance, because rumours say that SAF has targetted Schalke's Neuer as their next potential move....

Victory (Arsenal) 4 years ago

Lfc4life (Liverpool) 4 years ago
Uve got the kuschack you don't this english retard
Andy (Rangers) 4 years ago
Disproportionate reaction to a poor performance any keeper could easily have had. Drogba rattled him early on and it shook his confidence for the rest of the game, inexperience maybe but no reason to sell him on or even loan him out :/

He had a number of great games last season for United including a man of the match performance in the Carling Cup final
Yamsy (Liverpool) 4 years ago
Then lets hope he can continue his form from last year...
Tom (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Finally, someone is being logical. Everyone wants to throw him to the wolves because he had a bad outing. It was the first game of the season people! Don’t base your opinions on how good a player is in his first competitive match in months. Once he is at his best, he will show you why Fergie has confidence in him
Yamsy (Liverpool) 4 years ago
Big news.... Foster has pulled out of the England match.... Not because of his poor performance, but because he got an injury during the game....

Santillanavila (Tottenham Hotspur) 4 years ago
I don't think the injury is real. I think he chickened out. If he doesn't solve his nerves problem it could cost him his career. Man Utd should loan him to a team that would use him every match
So he can get use to the action
Yamsy (Liverpool) 4 years ago
Lol, chickened out.... Well he had reason to, Capello watched his performance in the shield.... Now Joe Hart is gonna' fill the role...
Kimaway17 (Liverpool) 4 years ago
I have to agree with you. He played like crap. Every time they passed back to him its either he didn't deal with it or he did a crap shot. I don't know why Fergie dosnt play Kuzackz
Adamaus (Manchester United) 4 years ago
I think he is ready....

Ready to be sold

From what i've seen he is not ready but if fergie has faith in him then he also must have faith, after all its not very often that fergie is wrong. However saying that, I would be a lot more comfortable in united was to buy a keeper nxt season to replace VDS.
