At what is the median age in which a footy players should retire? I say once a player hits 32, unfortunately football players don't have very long careers like other sports players. Ex: Dikembe Mutombo, the guys is 43 years old and is still playing in the NBA
I think you're referring to David James eh? According to Wikipedia he is nearly 39 years old. However, he's a keeper and I do believe they have longer longevity than other positions. He's getting mighty "old" though
I'd say there is no age limit as long as the player shows the commitment and heart to play at a high level. How are you guys forgetting Maldini! He's 41 and is still playing, not only that, but he is still very very good. Better than Mutombo is at basketball lol. Maldini could still play international footy
In all seriousness, does anyone else notice that the italian league has a lot of old players, like I'm talking ancient players. Players that my dad used to watch as a teenager
