How Many Keepie Uppies Can You Do?
Scottie (Manchester City) 2 weeks ago
How many keepie uppies can you do?

My most was 275 and that stood for about 10 years, until this one day I was feeling good on the ball in the park and I did 501, I got a bit carried away at hitting 500 and lost it because I never even dreamt I could reach those dizzy heights.

Sorry no evidence

So, what's your best score at keepie uppies?

If you send a video of you doing some keepie uppies,
- you might eventually win a chance to win a virtual prize from the footytube stash box

Tony (Manchester United) 2 weeks ago
Do you mean keepie uppie in footballing terms? .... Or keepie uppie in the bedroom olympics?
Either way, I'm crap at both.... Lol...
Andy (Rangers) 2 weeks ago
Maybe I shouldnt admit something so pathetic but I could probably muster about 10 on a good day.

My ball control is shocking, and has been since I was very young so I never really went about trying to improve on it. When I played football regularily (4-5 years ago), I really just relied on acceleration/pace during matches rather than my feet
Salt (Aston Villa) 2 weeks ago
I actually have a decent touch when controlling a ball but keep-ups are just something I never got round to perfecting! My best is certainly only in double figures too Andy! I'd rather pass a ball than keep it up, though!
Andydelz (AC Milan) 2 weeks ago
26 is the most I've mastered. Never been past 30 mark. Mostly because I'm using left leg as the pivot to stand and right foot to juggle the ball. By the time I reach 20, I've lost balance
Ciankc (Manchester United) 2 weeks ago
I've got 48, but I use my knees a lot
Adamaus (Manchester United) 2 weeks ago
472 is the most i've counted up to. I would say my record would be around 700. I used when to count them when I was keen to to know how many I could get, i've stopped counting now and just juggle for 10 minutes before I warm up, think its a good way to get the feel for the ball at the beginning of a training sesh
Incuteration (Everton) 2 weeks ago
Less than 10
Ant (Liverpool) 2 weeks ago
Has anybody gotten the maradona seven? I think its something like
Left foot -> Left knee -> Left shoulder -> Head -> Right shoulder -> Right knee -> Right foot

My personal best is about halfway through, but for straight keepy-uppys I'm stuck in the 10-15 range
Nemmy (Inter Milan) 2 weeks ago
I can do it.... With a balloon
Zishan07 (AC Milan) 2 weeks ago
Dagenham & Redbridge have a better chance of winning the World Cup than I have of doing that
Yogan09 (Chelsea) 2 weeks ago
My cousin nearly mastered it, I don't know if she fully has, but may I just say that I think it is right foot first (LOL) I think I tried and got to left shoulder (being reversed, which means I did right foot, right knee, right shoulder, head then left shoulder).

In terms of keepy ups with just my two feet, I think you all are amateur, except for Scottie, Adamaus and ManUK. I would say Serg is okay, but seriously guys, come on! I am 11 and I think I've probably got up to about 60 myself! If I havent over estimated, maybe 40 or 50 was the right number. I think you guys need some training. Most of you are five to fifteen!

Ps: Dagenham and Redbridge cannot win the World Cup; they are a club
Andydelz (AC Milan) 2 weeks ago
Well, most of us play amateur football, so you can imagine the level not being that good. But you've certainly got a high number for your age.

When I'm your age, I'm still kicking Cans. Sob...
Adamaus (Manchester United) 2 weeks ago
Like nemmy said, I might be able to do it with a baloon
Ant (Liverpool) 2 weeks ago
I take it back, seems to be
One foot -> other foot -> one knee -> other knee -> one shoulder -> other shoulder -> head

"Diego Armando Maradona invented this very soccer trick in the early 1980s in one of the Argentine Clausura soccer matches at half time. He combines a set of juggling soccer skills starting from left foot to right foot, then left knee to right knee, then left shoulder to right shoulder and finally heading the ball to complete the whole sequence.

Here's a clip of some random guy trying it, he eventually gets it

Yogan09 (Chelsea) 1 week ago
Found this on footytube, on player compilations, I'm not sure it has the actual Maradona Seven in it, but still, it's a great show of his juggling skills.

Zach (Manchester United) 4 days ago
I've been able to do the Maradona Seven a few times (the one from the original post at least). And I can juggle up into the 100's but I normally stick in and around the 60's. I found juggling in small spaces, like indoors, really improves my ball control and skill.... Still needs alot of work though lol
Rockerr (Liverpool) 2 weeks ago
Oh no.... I'm really poor at that. At my best I can do 5-10 (think so....)
Lukas (Chelsea) 2 weeks ago
27 and I got up to right shoulder
Omar (Arsenal) 2 weeks ago
Wow! What happens after it's on your shoulder?
Pragathish (AC Milan) 2 weeks ago
I can about 30 times.... But my right foot only works.... I hardly can touch the ball with my left foot.... Don't know why....
Omar (Arsenal) 2 weeks ago
We "righties" depend on our right foot too much. I tried working on my left, but only got 2, and I've only gotten 2 on the left to this day...
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 2 weeks ago
I can do around 15-20 on my left. My shoots are powerful with my left foot.... When I do volleys haha. But on the ground it rolls into the goal keepers hands
Andydelz (AC Milan) 2 weeks ago
Hey Pragathish, We have the same problems. Total right footed only. And we support the same team.
Pragathish (AC Milan) 2 weeks ago
I thought I was the only one!But my class mates can shoot with both the legs, and also can juggle with both...
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 2 weeks ago
I'm not that good at keepie uppies. As I get tired and feel bored. Most was around 70-something. AND I had to warm up before this so yeah.... Withought warming up I'm hopeless :C
Zishan07 (AC Milan) 2 weeks ago
I can do 2 keepie-uppies as consistently as Ronaldinho can schedule a night-out with only 15 minutes notice. My record is something like 26, but believe me, I got lucky. And if I so much as think about using my left foot, the ball just does the inevitable - fly away.

I suck, if you hadn't already guessed
ManUK (Manchester United) 2 weeks ago
Serious your low LOL I happened to have practiced for a thousand hours and I don't even know what my record is anymore. Last time I counted I got 1, 952
Omar (Arsenal) 2 weeks ago
In a row?
Rarimapirate (Liverpool) 2 weeks ago
Oi good stuff there ManUK that's what I like to hear, I've never been a big fan of counting myself, I just love to juggle. I think the most I've counted too is something like 300 then lost track, anything above a thousand is epic counting and juggling skills. I am very skilled at stalling the ball, I am working on learning to stall it well on my left and I need to work on the control of my chest. Have you ever stalled the ball on your thigh though Mank? Takes skill, that's one of my favorite moves to show people, although they don't think it is that cool, they don't know the skill involved
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 2 weeks ago
I try to stalling it on my back of thigh. But its bloody hard. And lol how many around the worlds can people do. Most I did in a row then tired out was 8 lol I suck I know
ManUK (Manchester United) 2 weeks ago
I can catch and hold it on the back of my leg. It's hecka hard on my thigh it's not flat D: I held it there for about 9 seconds then I failed. I do around the worlds with ease I'm working on doing it then letting it drop and catching it on my back leg, sweetness
Ant (Liverpool) 2 weeks ago
We need a video of this epic keep-uppy skill! Might also win the "Why I love footy" video competition....

In fact anyone who has a video of themselves trying new tricks should post it here

Charlie (Barcelona) 2 weeks ago
ManUk that sounds like a challenge! Do it! [reverse psychology]unless your chicken![/reverse psychology]
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 2 weeks ago
Yes Do It [ Reverse Psychology ].... Wait a minute.... Don't DO IT! [Reverse Psycology]
ManUK (Manchester United) 2 weeks ago
[reverse reverse psychology] Don't do it Kaden don't do it
Charlie (Barcelona) 2 weeks ago
.... Aren't you kaden? .... What? ....

On another note, you guys killed my bb code joke.... Thanks....

All I know is that I want to see ManUk do 1000. Or maybe you and SR can think of something cool, and do a video together for submission. But please come up with your ideas on meboo, instead of continuing this post!
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 6 days ago
Stop trying to make us making videos. D:
ManUK (Manchester United) 5 days ago
You are cruel Charlie D:
Riggs (Manchester United) 2 weeks ago
I can make it to about 150. My problems start somewhere around 130, my right leg is horribly tired and I have to start alternating. My trick is giving the ball hardly any air. I do really quick touches using only my right. Its foolproof until your muscles give
Adamaus (Manchester United) 2 weeks ago
How many touches can you get in 30 seconds doing it your way?
Omar (Arsenal) 2 weeks ago
Um.... About 24, 000. After 22, 000 I start getting a bit tired....

No but really, my highest was about 27 because a fly interrupted my juggling. Who knows how many more I could have done!
Yogan09 (Chelsea) 2 weeks ago
Try again then mate!
Manukid (Manchester United) 2 weeks ago
That is impossible. To get.... 501. My highest is about.... Seven or six. I'm totally crap at keepie-uppies. Lol No-one could be able to get more than 501. Now that's not true. It w*puld take more than a lifetime and beyond to get 501 keepie-uppies. If you did, then that is a real definite miracle to pull of. I wish I could have seen you do it!
Andydelz (AC Milan) 2 weeks ago
I don't think Scottie is bulls**tting here. LOL. Its very possible to get way beyond that. It's the concentration and technique that matters. Although the level of football is low in my country, I've got frenz who still is able to hit 100s over each time we play
Incuteration (Everton) 2 weeks ago
All my friends are s**t keepie-uppies actually, and the most I've got to is 18. . I'm surprised they even called me "pro", but I think that was quite a fluke, mostly on average I do about 7 to 8
