May need the collective minds of footytube on this one Who has scored the most goals in world cup finals? Not the tournaments(Ronaldo 15, Klose 14, Gerd Muller 14, Just Fontaine 13) but the actual finals match or matches. I don't think there has ever been a hat trick scored in a WC final but I could be wrong about that one, I have a few ideas but I will let people kick some of their own ideas about before I put mine
TheBarcaShow (Anims Tito) 1 year ago
I thought Paulo Rossi scored a hat trick in the finals. I'm probably wrong though
JulioFC (Inter Milan) 1 year ago
It's Geoff Hurst who scored a hat trick for England against Germany in the 1966 world cup final. I saw a video about that final on sunday because I bet my friend that George Best had taken top goalscorer that year while he chose Pele. We both Failed. LOL! But yeah, I saw the highlights and They said that Hurst is the only player to score a hat trick in a world cup final
Donnchadh (Liverpool) 1 year ago
Oh ya Julio, the phantom goal of course, what a great final that must have been, crazy. The orange ball and everything that ball was awesome, good shout on Hurst scoring the trick. I believe it was Eusebio who was top scorer with nine though, George never played in a world cup sadly and Brasil was eliminated in the groups? I want to say or by Portugal in the first round of knockouts.

Rossi scored a famous hat trick against Brasil in 82 I believe it was, but it wasn't in the final I don't think.

I was thinking there may be a few people on three, obviously Zidane with two in 98 and one in 06. Pele has two, one in 58 and one in 1970 as well as the famous assist to Carlos Alberto. He may have had more if he wasn't injured in 62 when Garrincha became world famous with his display that tournament. I think Zizou and Hurst are probably tied on three a piece, but some old school players that could have them beat. I am thinking maybe of an Italian player in 34 and 38, Italy won the WC in 38 4-2 against Hungary. Two players getting braces Colaussi and Piola. But neither of them scored in 34 I don't think they played in that tournament, maybe one of them(Piola apparently is legendary scoring more serie a goals than anyone else in history) would have more than three if not for WW II. Right now though it looks like Zizou and Hurst on three

Which Premier League fixture has produced more hat-tricks than any other? How many? Can you name the players who were able to get the 3 goals in the fixture
Donnchadh (Liverpool) 1 year ago
I would guess the upcoming cracker, Liverpool vs Arsenal. There is of course the famous Robbie Fowler hat trick, I believe Henry scored a hat trick against us, Arshavin +1.... Michael Owen and Robbie Fowler had so many tricks between them I wouldn't be surprised if one of them bagged another vs Arse, there is always so many goals when we meet
Luqmaank (Chelsea) 1 year ago
Yes I am sure its liverpool vs arsenal. Robbie Fowler Scored a hat trick, Michael Owen Scored one, RVP scored one and so did Arshavin and maby Peter Crouch Scored one
Kimaway17 (Liverpool) 1 year ago
When did RVP score one
Donnchadh (Liverpool) 1 year ago
What club does Juninho Pernambucano currently play for?

What percentage(this can be approximate) of his goals did he score from free kicks in his time with Lyon?
Jesuriya (AS Roma) 1 year ago
Around 45 to 50
Jesuriya (AS Roma) 1 year ago
Vasco da gamma
Donnchadh (Liverpool) 1 year ago
Ya I think it was right around 50 percent, and he scored over 100 goals for Lyon so 50 plus goals from dead ball situations haha, so ridiculous

My favorite is the second where it corkscrews, the knuckle he gets on some of them are just perfect

Nice you answered correctly on the first as well. He is back at Vasco de Gama, which I believe was the first professional club he played for. Good stuff Jesuriya, clearly not very difficult questions, more to illustrate what a brilliant free kick taker he is. In my mind the best to ever live
Jesuriya (AS Roma) 1 year ago
I would consider him greater to beckham in free kick
TheBarcaShow (Anims Tito) 1 year ago
Thought he was in Emirates, Dubai or Saudi Arabia.... Maybe Qatar.    Making big bucks somewhere
Donnchadh (Liverpool) 1 year ago
I thought the same thing TBS but I was watching TV and there was Juninho on Vasco de Gama, awesome I would still like to see him in the MLS
