Best Ball-Handlers Of All-Time!
FORZAJUVEPIERO (Juventus) 5 years ago
Well this is sort of a two part question.

1. Who do you think is the most dangerous and skilled ball-handler of all-time? And what makes that player particularly good?

2. Who do you think are the top 5 ball-handlers currently playing?

Here is a video that might give you some ideas. (I picked it partly for the Maradona fight at the end lol)

Ball + Hand = Maradona
Jabernard (Chelsea) 5 years ago
Agreed. I think the best ball handler is madadona.    I also think he is the best manager for argentina. And by best, I really mean worst.
Rockerr (Liverpool) 5 years ago
I think Paul scholes
Jabernard (Chelsea) 5 years ago

Donnchadh (Liverpool) 5 years ago
Has to be Zidane hands down. As for current top 5

1.)Lionel Messi
2.)Xavi Hernandez
3.)Riki Kaka
4.)Francesc Fabregas
5.)Xabi Alonso

Honorable mentions Gourcuff, Arshavin and Iniesta

Xabi is an excellent CM with a great, great pass, excellent vision and he contributes to defence very well too. But he surely isn't a good dribbler, which is IMHO an integral part of handling the ball.
I can agree about all others though, but Ronaldo should be there too. It's not because he sometimes looks like a gay prick that he doesn't deserve to be in there

I would also add Ibra, not because he's a great player for the team I support, but his technique is simply stunning. You can expect a small, agile man like Messi, Iniesta, Arshavin, Diego or pretty much all other skilled players to be able to do what he can do after a lot of training, but he's 1m94 (=6ft5inch) for God's sake! I have never, ever seen a player being able to combine strength, length, speed and intelligence with the technique he has. That is why I think that he's worth the price Barça paid. He's one of those players that are born every couple of decennia, unique to their generation
