Are Man U Fans Comfortable With Their Squad?
Kingsickhead (Chelsea) 2 years ago
Ant was the inspiration for this thread.

Are you guys really comfortable going into next season with squad you have going into this season with every other squad around you being strengthened?

Well, since I'm kingsickhead the notorious evil footytube member that likes to speak his mind with no remorse AND THE staff always delete MY thread WHEN I TALK about THEM I should add!

Well, I believe that Manchester will reach the next transfer window in 5th place and I don't believe manchester will win the prem this season!

There I said what on everybody else mind but are afraid to say it!

How do you feel about my believes? Discuss!
Lee (Kidderminster Harriers) 2 years ago
Told you a million times mate to stop using thousands of exclamation / question marks in your thread titles. There's no need to make your post stand out like this - if it's interesting, people will click.

I don't much care if it's a habit, it's not so hard to take a few moments to think about how annoying your thread title is for others to read.

-5m Fan Valuation, and will continue to go down every time this happens.

Will Kingsickhead be the first footytube member to actually be on minus valuation points at the start of the new season? Only time will tell....

Kingsickhead (Chelsea) 2 years ago
Ok time to please the board again sorry lee! And fyo I'm not try to make my threads stand out ! Its just a habit ! I might be rude but I'm not a liar! And you told me once and again I'm sorry!
StrikersMT28 (Seattle Sounders) 2 years ago
Yeah, but if he goes into negative valuation, he'll still walk with $100 like in jeopardy.

EmYouEffSee (Manchester United) 2 years ago
I can guarantee you we will be in the top 4 by the end of next season!
As far as winning the prem, it will be a little harder, that's for sure, but I think we can pull it off. Especially if you look and see that the other "big 4" teams havent been that active with their transfers this season except for chelsea
Kingsickhead (Chelsea) 2 years ago
But none of there squad changed but your did! As a matter a fact both your top scorers left lol!
SoundersFC23 (Seattle Sounders) 2 years ago
Haha I know right
Gavrazor (Manchester City) 2 years ago
Now that ronaldo and tevez is gone people forget about all the other great players united have, such as rooney, vidic, ferdinand, evra, VDS.... Etc I still believe united have the best squad in the prem even if they don't have the best starting XI
Ant (Liverpool) 2 years ago
Where is gavrazor and what did you do to him?
Gavrazor (Manchester City) 2 years ago
I need some 'serious' votes on my pie so that I can post in the stands without them all getting deleted =P
Kingsickhead (Chelsea) 2 years ago
Did you just realize you name 3 defendres 1 striker and a goal keeper rigth that sounds like a squad in shape to have the least gaol agiasnt them ! They won't win the title but they will have the goal agasnt sound cool 1 guess...
Tom (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Do you know what etc stands for? Et cetera its a latin expression for and so on
Kingsickhead (Chelsea) 2 years ago
Yea I do but those are the main players for manchester right now though who else? Everyone else is questionable(as a matter a fact I call all the other squad members might be's) hargo might play to his full potential , macheda and welback might blossom this season, owen might truly find his form at man utd ! The new guy you sign from france might adjust quickly to the prem. Everything is questionable about manchester at this moment!
Tom (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Ok I guess you need me to make a list for you. In defence, we got Brown, the twins, Evans, Evra, Rio, O'Shea, and Vidic. You can't beat us if you can't score. In the middle, we are also stacked with Carrick, Fletcher, Gibson, Hargo, Giggs, Anderson, Obertan, Nani, Park, Tosic, Scholes, and Valencia. Up front we have Macheda, Welbeck, Rooney, Owen, Berbatov, and Manucho. This is are apparent week spot, but I will take these forwards over Liverpool's, Arsenal's, and Chelsea's any day of the week
Kingsickhead (Chelsea) 2 years ago
Giggs anerson scholes valencia I agree with but the rest I'm not sure what they will do ! They havent proven themselves yet! Don't think I'm disrespecting the team okay? I can't even say if real madrid are going do well and they have 2 of the top players in the world! Be fair
Tom (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Haha you're telling me to be fair when you're just writing off the likes of Carrick, Fletcher, and Park
Nitro (Barcelona) 2 years ago
Whats to worry about? They have Owen now, perfect replacement
Kingsickhead (Chelsea) 2 years ago
Wow sarcasm at its finest ! They really have faith in thier squad! Theyll win a few games though!
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 2 years ago
Well would you sell tevez and ronaldo for a championship standard player like owen? Eh I don't think so
ManUK (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Hmm I bet your happy, well maybe not it's another Fergie master plan
Kingsickhead (Chelsea) 2 years ago
I hope he does because it starting to real weird in manchester at the moment all eyes on fergie
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 2 years ago
Happy? A bit lol. But I still have this gut feeling inside me that ronnie has left the premiership
ManUK (Manchester United) 2 years ago
I wonder why
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 2 years ago
Even though I hate seeing him do well its delightfull to see his class in the premiership. I mean he put the prem on the map. Withought him there aint many stars around
ManUK (Manchester United) 2 years ago
But still the best league in all
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 2 years ago
I Wish. I can honestley see spain taking the position now
ManUK (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Well now, with all that Money Money Money going round
Kimaway17 (Liverpool) 2 years ago
Am not a Man UTD fan but I would be happy. Your squad is the most consistant follwed by Chelsea
Dali (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Honestly, as a Man UTD faithful, I am a bit worried. Not that we don't have the talent to sustain us this season, I just think that we may need rearrange our previous tactics that has helped us win the title the past two years. And changing something that has consistently given you a good results is hard to do. I am nervous, but I am very excited on what this season has in store. I think we really will see some people step up.... Much like Arsenal did when Henry left. For the first time did I really see what Adebayor had in him (although Arsenal didn't win the title, they did win my respect)

As for Chelsea....

One word: Shevshenko
Kingsickhead (Chelsea) 2 years ago
Yo had to go there didn't you lol? But okay we made a mistake but remember our sqaud hasnt changed yours did!
Dali (Manchester United) 2 years ago
true that
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 2 years ago
Shevy would had performed but he was home sick in my opinion
Eric (Manchester United) 2 years ago
I am not worried. I trust in Fergie's decision. He's allowing for the young players to make a move for the first team. The back four is just as solid as it was last season. Fergie will put Rooney up front where he will flourish and become the top goalscorer (I have no doubts in his ability to do so). Berba will improve this season or be replaced in the winter transfer window. Midfield is looking great with Valencia, Carrick, Hargreaves maybe, Obertan, Giggs, Fletcher. Honestly, what's to worry about? Trust in the gaffer
Kingsickhead (Chelsea) 2 years ago
Okay confident words baqllinout I respect your loyality hopefully your right!
Eric (Manchester United) 2 years ago
It's not too hard to be confident when the confidence is held in one of the most successful managers in history. Sir Alex knows the game and he knows his team.... The Red Devils will be in contention for everything against this year
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 2 years ago
I think the charity match againts chealsea will show us the work rate that owen can give to the team. If it goes right then maybe he can win back his dignity
Ragarsha (Liverpool) 2 years ago
I am least interested, but everyone knows the scott he has been at the club from decades, he will take a great decision I guess all the utd fans have faith in him
Yamsy (Liverpool) 2 years ago
Defence is great, except for right back.... Strike power is decent.... But midfield is loose, Giggs and Scholes isn't getting any younger, Anderson and Nani aren't the shining prospect they were guaranteed to be and I'm not fond at all with Carrick and Fletcher.... That only leaves Valencia and Park as decent midfielders....
That's my point of view, so no offense to any Man Utd fans....
Kingsickhead (Chelsea) 2 years ago
Thanks you yamsy you said it best ! They probably think I'm trying to diss their squad I'm just stating the obvious and I don't like how everyone is letting them slide and I won't compliment a team unless they are worth complimenting
JohnnyG (Manchester United) 2 years ago
3 titles in a row, probably a team worth complimenting?
Kingsickhead (Chelsea) 2 years ago
I mean with the current squad they had a major loss !
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 2 years ago
I really believe manchester united will still be strong throughout the next year. Getting the number one spot will be hard. But then again so it would be for Liverpool too.
Ant (Liverpool) 2 years ago
Everyones providing opinions, but here are some cold stats to digest. Stats never prove anything of course, but it shows the kind of gap the new Manchester United players will have to fill.

Yamsy (Liverpool) 2 years ago
How much did Owen or Valencia score in the last 2 seasons?
Kingsickhead (Chelsea) 2 years ago
Yea they really have a big gap to fill but will they it's questionable !
Tom (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Don't let statistics fool you. Tevez got 8 of his goals this past season in the Carling and FA cups against minnows
Ant (Liverpool) 2 years ago
Hey, I said stats don't prove anything, I just wanted to put the numbers down! Rooney will step up
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 2 years ago
And not to forget them last minute gaps that were filled with ronnie and tevez. Can they.... Will they be filled by owen and valencia? True to heart I say no!
ManUK (Manchester United) 2 years ago
True to a Liverpool Heart
Lfc4life (Liverpool) 2 years ago
Valencia scored 3 goals last season
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 2 years ago
I don't mean he will do bad. I mean he won't do as " well " as ronnie or tevez. But you never know I may be wrong
Kingsickhead (Chelsea) 2 years ago
Wow valencia did better than I thought then lol
Adamaus (Manchester United) 2 years ago
I'm happy, I think we should have used our money to sign huntelaar or someone big but I can't say I know more than fergie, and in fergie we trust. I'm sure we will do fine our squad is still awesome yes we lost 2 big players but to me fergie is really making an effort to have an awesome united squad in 2-3 years, which is good because teams like chelsea are getting pretty old.

I'm sure Owen can step up, no one can deny he has the talent and ability and to be honest I can see him score lots of goals if he doesn't get injured, we also just signed Biram Diouf who looks to be honest awesome! Alot better than Macheda and Welbeck imo.

He scored 30 goals in 60 appearences and I think we will see him play a few first games for united this season and make an impact even if owen doesn't.

But overall our squad hasnt weakend at all, yes we may have lost to awesome players but we have made a number of young signings that could become just as awesome as ronaldo
Kingsickhead (Chelsea) 2 years ago
Looks like excellent singing I'm impressed!
Eric (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Wow.... I hadn't heard about this signing. He looks fantastic. And hell if he's half the striker that Solskjaer was, United will have no problem holding top position this year
Tom (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Yea he looks like a good signing. He won't be joining us until January though as we loaned him back to Molde for the rest of their season
JohnnyG (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Kimaway17 (Liverpool) 2 years ago
Ok as a Liverpool fan I regret doin this. But those who have been dissin Man UTD have been dumb. Man UTD midflied is one of the best in the league. If not the best. Park Carrick and Flecher give 110% to the team. They so underrated. They all have what some midflieders don't have. And good work rate. Anderson is just like them he is just awesome. He is so unslefish. He's only problem he can't score. And now Valencia is in the team he adds to the midflied. Then Owen in attack. He has become a goal hanger. Which is what need more this season. But their weak spot the right back position. But when Hargreaves comes back he can fill in that spot
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 2 years ago
Great goal hanger? Lol seriousley I think he can be just a bit better than that
Adamaus (Manchester United) 2 years ago
"But when Hargreaves comes back he can fill in that spot"

Hargreaves doesn't play right back he is a DM or RM. Its when Wes Brown comes back that spot will be filled (he is back btw) also we have rafael who is pretty awesome imo
Eric (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Brown will be back, Rafael is a great youngster at RB, and oh Shea ca play this position no problem. All are better than Neville
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 2 years ago
Brown is under-rated and rafael is over- but yet very young
ManUK (Manchester United) 2 years ago
Hmm Th overrated and underrated player decider is he over or underrated. Hmm I need one of you guys for my household
Kingsickhead (Chelsea) 2 years ago
We will see what they do when torres and gerrard anelka drogba or drae I say tevz and ade pressure the defence
Ant (Liverpool) 2 years ago
Manchester United have allowed striker Manucho to join Spanish side Real Valladolid on a five-year deal.

Probably won't make a difference though, he apparently only played one game for United
