Worst Football Injuries...
Eric (Manchester United) 5 months ago
Watch at your own risk!

Everyone has probably seen this one:

Poor Cisse, how is he still playing in top league football? You guys have any others to share? I know there are lots so post pictures or videos if you can find them.

Also saw this one on the Off Topic Banter Forum from VanPersie:

*Cringe*

Ouch! How could Cisse even walk after that injury!
Devang (Liverpool) 1 month ago

Oh, WOW. That is horrible. It's almost scary how easily it happened, and I really hope it doesn't happen to anyone else!
Manukid (Manchester United) 3 weeks ago
OMG. YUCK. Sorry gotta' go throw up
Pragathish (AC Milan) 2 weeks ago
!OMG!I should have listened to your warning!WHo's that guy on the second video? What happened to him?
Charliehenry (Arsenal) 1 week ago
Wow I can't believe that guy broke his own ankle he should drink some more milk and practice his tackling better
Omar (Arsenal) 1 week ago
@Pragathish: The guy in the second video is Edgar Andrade of Cruz Azul. He's recovered (since 2007) and is still with Cruz Azul in Mexico, but now wears the number 8.

He was around 18-19 when he got injured...
Yogan09 (Chelsea) 1 week ago
Thanks for your help on behalf of Pragathish as well as me, I'm so happy he's recovered! Jeez, the added crack for the break was just brutal!
Manukid (Manchester United) 1 week ago
I was really breathing heavily after I watched that. It feels like you wanna throw up
Neonseong (Liverpool) 5 months ago
And didn't Cisse break his legs twice? Yikes poor man. The worst I can think of that's pretty recent is Eduardo's leg? Or was it ankle, but god that was disgusting
Eric (Manchester United) 5 months ago
Yeah Cisse has broken his leg twice, and this one is the lighter of the two in my opinion. Unlucky.... Yet lucky that he can still play football well
ZidaneTheLagend (Liverpool) 5 months ago
Very lucky to be still playing football
Neonseong (Liverpool) 5 months ago
Lucky to even walk properly
ZidaneTheLagend (Liverpool) 5 months ago
Lucky to has a leg. Lol
JosiahsOnFire (Barcelona) 5 months ago

Here we go:
Ellada10 (Olympiakos Piraeus) 5 months ago
Lol the perfect vidoe for this topic
JohnnyG (Manchester United) 5 months ago
I'm cringing while watching this, hasn't even started yet haha
Eric (Manchester United) 5 months ago
Just the picture is enough to make you uncomfortably shift in your seat huh?
Devang (Liverpool) 1 month ago
All made me sick.... Cisse broke his leg twice! How can someone go through such pain twice!
I didn't know Totti and Eduardo both were the victims of such leg breaks to!
Futbol22 (Arsenal) 5 months ago
I cry whenever I watch the video of Eduardo's leg break. Ugh, so painful. His ankle is completely detached from his leg. Horrid
ZidaneTheLagend (Liverpool) 5 months ago
ErrK
Eric (Manchester United) 5 months ago
Painful to watch
Charliehenry (Arsenal) 1 week ago
Yeah I was sad for him because he was the new player to our team and starting to get a good form going and then that happens. It was a time when there were bad takles all over the league matches and eduardo was unlucky to be on the end of one
Incuteration (Everton) 5 months ago
Eduardo FTW! The Mexican wouldn't lose out too
Ragarsha (Liverpool) 5 months ago
Eduardo: Birmingam v Arsenal,

Treated for 8 mins on pitch and is yet to make a return to first team football although played a reserve team fixture last night

Wilfred Bouma, Aston Villa

A mere dislocated ankle apparently, don’t know what all the fuss is about….

Jacob Olesen - Now plays for Viborg FF

Anyone would think he had swallowed a wasp

Ewald Lienen - Against Werder Bremen

One of the many dangers of using nylon studs…. And exceptionally bad tackles. If you look really closely you will notice that the ball boy is sitting on something white with a red stripe.

Lienen

David Busst, Coventry v Manchester United

Ended his career

Alf-Inge Haland, Man City v Roy Keane

Roy Keane admitted to doing this deliberately. Yet he was still allowed to manage a football club. Riddle me that

Don’t know who, but it looks like it hurts. A lot

Djibril Cisse - Whilst playing for France

This one alway disturbs me.

Don’t know the facts…

But probably one of the reasons a two footed tackle was banned:

Ok, so this isn’t a football one. But it is kind of. Just look at the state of it!

American-football

ZidaneTheLagend (Liverpool) 5 months ago
Ohhh
JohnnyG (Manchester United) 5 months ago
Well, probably seen Owen go down with injury.... Oh say, 97 times?
ZidaneTheLagend (Liverpool) 5 months ago
LOL
Eric (Manchester United) 5 months ago
Pretty bad.... At least it wasn't like Cisse's where his leg splits in half
Salt (Aston Villa) 2 months ago
That was his ACL wasn't it? I had the exact same thing happen to me just days before seeing this. THe recovery time is a killer after the reconstructive surgery. But the scar looks awesome!
Charliehenry (Arsenal) 1 week ago
Split in half is abit OTT but yeah you can tell when the click of his bone happens ouch
ZidaneTheLagend (Liverpool) 5 months ago
   Poor Terry
Abepaih (Arsenal) 5 months ago
Everyone panic like hell. Lol
Eric (Manchester United) 5 months ago
Jesus! Damn, that's for real. He's crazy for going after that ball with his head
Darius (St. Louis Soccer United) 4 months ago
This may sound weird but, once you think about it, this is apart of what makes football so great. Not the injury, but the gathering of BOTH teams, though they are rivals, to help out a fellow player/opponent. Sportsmanship. Don't forget it.
Terry1905 (Chelsea) 4 months ago
I honestly thought he died while I was watching that
ZidaneTheLagend (Liverpool) 4 months ago
Lol
Manukid (Manchester United) 2 weeks ago
OMG I'd really hate to be him
Charliehenry (Arsenal) 1 week ago
And the thing is he put all his power in to clear that  Diaby is deadly
Abepaih (Arsenal) 5 months ago
   TKO!
Eric (Manchester United) 5 months ago
Damn, it's not often you see vidic go down like that
SzakalNH (Real Madrid) 2 months ago
Like a Muay Thai warrior
VanPersie (Arsenal) 5 months ago
Some one should find a good video of eduardo I tried but had no luck
Neonseong (Liverpool) 5 months ago
God you wanna see that stuff again? I wanna puke just remembering it again
Eric (Manchester United) 5 months ago
Whether you like it or not:

Eduardo 1.07 minutes in
Eric (Manchester United) 5 months ago
I apologize for posting this.... It makes me cringe the more I see it. Haha, enjoy
VanPersie (Arsenal) 4 months ago
AHHH maybe I should not have asked for it. That ankle is so twisted. Did the tackler get a ban?
Eric (Manchester United) 4 months ago
Not entirely sure.... I'm sure he didn't mean it to be thaaat bad.... But geez. So savage
Andy (Rangers) 1 month ago
I think there are a lot of tackles in that video that are far more horrific than Eduardo's. There is almost a mythology surrounding the Eduardo video that people think it is the worst leg break in football because they expect to be.

Some of those tackles ending careers, Eduardo was out just short of a year with that particular injury (hamstring? Issues hampered his first team return for a while)
ACMilan21 (AC Milan) 3 weeks ago
Back to what Van Persie was asking:
No, the player did not get a ban although Wenger complained to the F. A. but he did not deserve a ban according to the F. A.
It is quite a clean tackle, in the sense that the player went in with only one foot, and went in before Eduardo was past him, so it wasn't a mean tackle but purley one to try and get the ball. The rest was just unlucky
Andy (Rangers) 3 weeks ago
Wenger actually called for the player (Martin Taylor) to be banned from football.... For life.... which he later retracted (thankfully)

He was given the standard 3 match ban as it was decided by FA + FIFA that there was no malicious intent although he did recieve death threats and was openly criticised by Eduardo's Croatian teammates
Manukid (Manchester United) 1 week ago
Damn it that guy who got hit with a flame thrower at 2. 26 must have been crying! And also I liked that fan who came on and kegged the refferee behind his back! Funny, but disgusting
Ant (Liverpool) 4 months ago
This is a truly rotten topic and I hope to never look at it again!
Yogan09 (Chelsea) 2 months ago
Exactly. I really am not squeamish, but I absolutely cringe and hate to see this kind of stuff. It is so disturbing, it is always in your mind, especailly the one where his leg gone 90 degrees. I know Eduardo's okay, but really, the five worst leg breaks I pressed pause as soon as the name cam e up, it's so disgusting. You should lock these
Charliehenry (Arsenal) 1 week ago
Yeah seeing so many leg breakers make me think maybe I am safer not being a footballer but after the eduardo incident I look out for bad takles
Manukid (Manchester United) 1 week ago
Yes, I agree. And I also don't see why eric put it on funny old game!
Elucari (Liverpool) 4 months ago
If you want to see a truly gruesome injury, take a look at the video of Willis McGahee, American Football player, having his knee smashed back behind his leg
StrikersMT28 (Seattle Sounders) 4 months ago
Yeah that happened when he was at Miami. In the NCAA championsip too. The knee just went where it wasn't supposed to.

Eric (Manchester United) 4 months ago
Sweet Mary
StrikersMT28 (Seattle Sounders) 4 months ago
An American Football injury, the worst in the history of sports.
Eric (Manchester United) 4 months ago
Wow.... Ouch
ZidaneTheLagend (Liverpool) 4 months ago
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh my god. S**t man wahhhhhhhhhhh that is so painful my god. Dammmmm what the hell that is so ohhhhh can't explain
Yogan09 (Chelsea) 3 weeks ago
I didn't watch it all because I was too worried but can someone actually tell me what happened to him. Oh PS that video shouldn't be on here because it isn't an American site, so we talk about football as in soccer, not football as in rugby!
Yogan09 (Chelsea) 3 weeks ago
Oooops I posted it twice sorry I had to edit this so it says somethin else lol....
Is he dead?
Is that guy at the end the dude who got injured?
I just can't bear it.
Yogan09 (Chelsea) 3 weeks ago
Oh it is him.... Oh gee few  I'm so happy that he's recovered  Poor soul
Not1ofu (Manchester United) 2 months ago
Every time I watch these I cringe I don't know why I still watch after I broke my leg but curiousity gets the best out of me. There is a new injury posted on the man utd vs arsenal thread that's just plain nasty
