As we are on the brink of yet another major update to the footytube platform (the v1.5 SpreadLight Release), we thought we'd take a time-out to say thanks to all the footytube fanboys (and girls!) that help make the footytube community such a special place to be.

I am rather upset about Ant representing footytube, I represent way more, now I'm going to return my chain because I am hurt, and offended, and too hurt.
So what new will version 1. 5 bring? Is it under the hood stuff or are there going to be some new features? Also is the footer graphic at the bottom going to change? I really want to see that guy score

As for the SpreadLight release:
Expect fifalobby beta testing, prediction leagues (maybe if we can finalise some stuff), email alerts, a flash based spot the ball competition courtesy of Ant, and tons of under the hood stuff....
Plus full openfooty public beta launch and something super awesome we can't reveal yet
P. S. Talking of over the top, how many of you have noticed that the stadium clock in the footer shows the actual time in your part of the world?
You overestimate us sir, as if like half of us can tell time in analog.... Pfff, what's next valuation points in roman numerals? The schools around the world have gone down a great deal since your time, please keep it simple, and lot's of bright colors.... Yay! Haha
I think everybody wants to see that guy score I also wouldn't mind a full footy match after all this is footytube and yes I have noticed that the clock shows the right time. I have also noticed how it says copyleft rather then copyright
Haha You expect us to look at that clock! Poor Lee Works himself to death putting together a tiny clock that no one notices see's or can even read. You sir are impressive!
You know what, I'm gonna' say something dead soppy, but it's true. Most people who haven't actually took part in any of the forums or watching videos or maybe don't even have an account would mistake this website for a simple Social Networking Site, like Facebook, Bebo or MySpace. But in a certain way, it's different. At the footer at the bottom of your page, there is a one, true statement "footytube - the football community". I'm commenting on this because it is like a community.
It's more secretive than Facebook, with less people, which makes it better and more inspiring, and somehow, it just feels like now I've been here for a few months, I know everyone. Its like we are all drawn together and in posts we mention each other a lot, and even though most of us have never met, I really like it because of the way it actually feels like a community.

I think you are right, you know. Thanks for saying it. We're all kind of lucky to be part of footytube right now because it certainly feels like a community, even though there are probably hundreds of thousands of users. I think when the World cup starts, this site will get even bigger, so we need to do our best to keep the community spirit going and enjoy the site

I also agree very much but no worries because they are the people missing out. footytube offers alot more than at first thought. The fan val table gr8 idea and the inclusion of fantasy footy. The club forum is also there and I see my fellow club fans as firens because we are able to discuss about our club Love footytube and doin a gr8 job
