Ooh La La!

Don't panic! You haven't actually been transported back to 1963, but in the name of everything retro and chic, we are delighted to unveil Le New Stella Artois Footytube Partner Channel

Not only are Stella responsible for making one of the finest continental lagers known to man, but they also make some pretty damn cool videos too, as their footytube channel is testament to.

The tie-in with Florence + the Machine, was a particular stroke of genius that certainly resonated with me. Some of the footytube regulars may remember I posted about florence a few months ago, and I think her new album Lungs, has to be one of my most listened to albums on Spotify.

The retro chic isn't just about nostalgia though, there's also a really positive environmental message to the stella campaign, and one that sits well with our ethos here at footytube, what with us long ago declaring ourselves a carbon neutral website.

Enjoy Le footytube while you can, we'll be back in the 21st century before you know it!

Well if that video up top is indicative of the rest of that album, I will be purchasing it with extreme prejudice immediately

Well we just received the following bug report that made me laugh (not sure if it's serious :/)

Email:

Message: The website is not showing its content in English. English language selection displays the content in Spanish
ManUK (Manchester United) 2 years ago
LOL! HAHA! That's exactly what I thought! Didn't send that though
Lee (Kidderminster Harriers) 2 years ago
Which just goes to prove the 3 second theory.... You have 3 seconds to maintain a users attention before they make the decision to stay on your site....

Shame he went to all the effort of finding the tiny change language text but missed my massive blog post.... Ah well, C'est la vie
BarcaFerLife (Barcelona) 2 years ago

SO, signing up for a pro account apparently removes banner ads.... But activates giant Stella ads. That was money well spent
Lee (Kidderminster Harriers) 2 years ago
Ooops, our bad Oliver, we'll look into it.
