Footybet Preview: Arsenal Vs. Manchester United

Can United’s defenders stop Alexis in the box?

Alexis Sanchez is ranked third in Premier League scorers this season and Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal will be keen to see the Chilean forward kept out of the penalty area. Alexis lines up for the Gunners for the first time when United are the opponents in the Saturday evening kick-off at the Emirates.

The Chilean has netted all eight of his Premier League goals from inside the area this season so Van Gaal will know it is paramount for his defenders to be on top form against a player who cost £30million when the Gunners signed him from Barcelona in the summer.

Alexis has been in particularly good form against the struggling sides with four of his goals coming in games against Burnley, when he scored twice, Leicester and Hull.

He did not score against leaders Chelsea so keeping him blank for the day will be a measure of how far United have come after a difficult start under Van Gaal.

The best price in the industry for Alexis to score is 7/4 (2.75). We are offering even greater value @ 2/1 (3.0), take the bet at http://goo.gl/CixyDV

England strikers Danny Welbeck and Wayne Rooney face each other after both were in scoring form for England during the international break, Welbeck netting twice in the 3-1 win over Slovenia in the European Championship qualifier at Wembley.

Rooney was also on the scoresheet in that game and netted a brace of his own as England won 3-1 again in midweek, this time against old enemies Scotland in a friendly at Celtic Park.

But it is their form for their club sides which will be of more concern to respective club managers Arsene Wenger and Van Gaal.

Welbeck has scored twice in eight Premier League outings for the Gunners since his £16million summer move from Old Trafford.

Rooney has been similarly shot-shy for his club in the Premier League, finding the target three times in as many games.

Robin van Persie, who regularly found the net when he played for Arsenal and following his switch to Old Trafford, has got three in ten.

Enhanced price therefore maximum stake of £25 per user.
