Here's some brainstorming ideas:

-Create a database of names of all the players around.
-Add Rankings table for each user for top 5 players
-"Most admired player of the month" page.compile a video of best goals/tricks for this player?

Some great ideas here but the logistics surrounding the database may be a stumbling block.

Matt/Lee/Vlad/Ben may be able to give you some more realistic feedback as to whether it will be considered.

It may seem like a lot of work, but once the database is completed, I am sure that it would become of valuable use for the website for future integration into other new and existing features.

Would it be possible to 'borrow' their player links with reference to their website? Now I don't know what the procedure is in these situation, but if maybe you can get permission from their website to use the names database.

Either way you look at it, from a technical point of view, it is definitely do-able. Please let me know what you think
