I would like there to be an easier way to add friends.

Perhaps you could view other people friends in a separate page that lists them all, and allows you to add each one from the same page, rather than having to jump from profile to profile....

Just a thought....

This would allow users to amass friends, adding users who they aren't actually friends with. People would spam up ther profile with friends and every user would have hundreds and hundreds.

Friends on footytube aren't mean to be headhunted trophies but rather a display of like-minded footy fans you get along with.

This is exactly what he wishes to do. Nice call out. No offense intended but just look at friends lists and you can understand those who add random people, "rivals" even.

I may be wrong, but even if you may be the best friends in real life, you should in essence add the person as a rival, not just someone who annoys you on footytube. Right?
