We had a horrible start of season. We are at a poor level phisically and in motivation. Our manager don't know wich way to go anymore. What ever happen to this team?!.... This win was like a little light at the end of a long dark tunnel.... Força Porto!

AVB should've stayed. Chelsea was too big of a task for him.... Can you imagine the crazy porto of last year in champions league this year? With AVB coaching. Definatley wouldve been scary
Georgio (Bayern München) 6 months ago
True lol
BadGones91 (Olympique Lyon) 5 months ago
And with Falcao instead of Kleber up front for Porto then they would have been very different

Where to begin where to begin. The season started like s**t and last saturday (or sunday not sure) we hit rock bottom. The last game was so embarrassing that I think porto should have just stayed home maybe they would have done a better job. I am not to optimistic when talkin about this new and improved porto but I hope I'm wrong. Yes the last few games I have been blaming the coach for the losses and I believe that I was a little mad and I took it out on only the coach (because he was the only obvious change from last season) now thinkin more indept I am now blaming the players as well but only the players who got offers from huge teams to leave this past summer like alvaro pereira, fernando, rolando, ect. These players arent playin with as much heart ad last season and this makes it much harder for the team to function and for the team to create anything. So last game was an embarrassment and I knew something would have to change and when I started to watch the game I wanted to see if the porto family from last season would return. I had my doubts and I was proven wrong they attacked as a team and defended not so good (like usually not taking any credit away from shakhtar) and the most obvious way to show what I'm blabbing about is when porto score the goals and the way in which the players interact in the celebration showing me hope for the near future and I do hope it continues viva ou porto

AdnanMessi (Barcelona) 6 months ago

I'm wondering if Newell even read it. Seemed calm to me
Megadragao12 (FC Porto) 6 months ago
Total know how you feel and I agree we can't just put all the blame on the coach because the fact is the just look like statues in that game on Sat. I mean losing is one thing but not even trying is another. Plus I thinking it was a good idea of him change up the formation in the game yesterday and I was really surprised when Rodriguez came in to the game because he really has not played a lot this season but he brought a lot of spark to Porto's game and maybe that's what we should do once in a while, take out some of these players that aren't playing well because their thoughts are in other places and show them that if the don't bring their A-game they can easily be replaced

If they continue to play like this, I don't believe they will do the jump they all dream about.... I'm talking about A. Pereira, Guarin, Rolando, even Otamendi, Varela (what happen to this guy? He's always tired) Nobody will give 30M for a set of players playing once in a while....

Newell -Please don't comment if you have nothing to say!

I heard Porto were a bit lucky.... Is it true?
LusoAmerican (FC Porto) 6 months ago
I mean shakhtar isn't the easiest team to play and they created there opportunities and yeah I guess they could have scored however did they deserve to score? That up to each individual to say I think that porto played better an should have won like it happened
Megadragao12 (FC Porto) 6 months ago
They are probably saying that because the game was pretty even especially in the first half, plus Shaktar almost scored just before Hulk got that first goal. Porto was the more dominate team in the second half and had a lot more shoots at their net then the other way around and not only look more determine to win but were controlling the ball in
Shaktar half of the field while shaktar limited themselves to quick counter attacks

Shaktar completly fuked it up this season
Reds89 (Manchester United) 6 months ago
Shaktar had there fair share of chances in this match, they just cudn convert them. Unfortunate
Flod789 (SK Rapid Wien) 6 months ago
True. They got only one point against apoel at home and had like 20:2 shots
Megadragao12 (FC Porto) 6 months ago
Moutinho's assist on h\Hulk's goal was just class, its very similar to the one he gave Ronaldo in the game against Bosnia. He dose not get of lot of goals but the fact is that he is a key player in midfield and a great player maker. Lol I love how Helton celebrates the goals waving his arms in circles like crazy
Flod789 (SK Rapid Wien) 6 months ago
Unfortunate own goal by ratzman ratz

Feel bad for Shakhtar, guess they didn't finish well enough, tough loss at home, but good for Porto, they got there goals and 3 points good for them
