Chelsea started well the match, but halfway through the first half I think Everton got a bit bolder. In the second half Everton created the best chances and managed to score. However, Kalou's goal was a big blow on what the Toffees were producing until that moment (nonetheless, it was a great counter attack!). I accept the draw, but I think Everton was better overall, even with some good moments from Chelsea in the 15 minutes. I just hope the second leg can be as exciting as the firs one!
We already have champion league and some wednesday premier league match scheduled on wednesday's. It won't be a good idea to keep replaying. We will have so much tired legs
I thought Torres wanted to come over to Chelsea. If it is true too bad for Liverpool, if they lose Gerrard man Liverpool is going to suffer. to Liverpool fans
To be honest, Everton were unluvky to not progress. They played so well. But Cech was amazing this game. Ramires also played well. I feel like he starting to get used to the EPL and has been playing great football lately. I still think Saha is a top striker. One of the best in the EPL. Sad that his career at United was cut short due to injuries. Rodwell is an outstanding player. And he's so young! That's what's scary! He'll only get better. But I think Everton have a tough task ahead of them going to the bridge for the replay
Aaaaaaaaaaaaggggghhhh Why can't we get a break? I think It's Drogba that gets his feet tangled and completely wrong foots everyone in the build up to their goal while 30 seconds earlier Seamus gets no luck what so ever from his header or follow up, although Essiens block is excellent to be fair. It's a fickle mistress is football. We should have won it really, no disrespect to Chelsea, but we should have won it. Now all we have to do is win at Stamford Bridge for the first time since the invention of football. Or at least that's how it feels at this stage. Typical Everton always doing things the hard way
Honestly, You guys may be the most unlucky football team in the world. I support Arsenal to the death but I most enjoy watching everton play and I really felt bad when I heard of the pienar exit. But I really respect this team and it will be a joy to watch us against you tomorrow
