On their day Everton can play with the best in the Premier League, but man, when they play badly, wow! There is just no way to explain or justify a beating like this, regardless of whether or not you were playing away...
Right on Sam! I would disagree with you a little.... On their best day they can keep up with the best.... But they are still a second and third tier team.... So when they have a bad day, they really have a bad day.... Lol...
Third tier? We've finished 5th in the Premiership in the last 2 seasons. We are the fourth most successful club in England behind Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal. We have played more seasons in England's top division than any other club!Compared to La Viola we are massive!
I knew that losing is inevitable, I sensed it, Benfica had a really strong team. Especially with us having injuries all over the place and players ineligible for play. Hibbert has to move from right back to the centre-back position and he is not comfortable with it.
For Redviking, your team didn't do very well too. Your team were beaten by a beach ball and Lyon too, so I sensed that fact that you was not happy and decided to vent the anger on your local rivals.
I expected a loss, not to the extent of a thrashing.
