Sloppy play from Barca, no drive for the 2nd goal. They got too complacent, and well, paid the price. This will be a wake up call for Pep and the boys, and I'm sure their next game they will be pushing for a dominant performance all around

Barcelona loses to getafe away from home 1-0, madrid beats getafe at home 4-2.... Barcelona draws with bilbao 2-2 away from home, madrid still to play vs bilbao away from home.... Madrid beats espanyol away from home 0-4, barcelona draws with espanyol away from home 1-1.... Barcelona beats REAL madrid 1-3 IN THE bernabeu.... Madrid still 5 points ahead!.... Wierd season

Actually table would have been very close if in Valencia Higuain's hand ball and todays's hand ball was given on Pedro's shot on goal. Also Seville drew Barca away 0-0 not 2-2.

Barca had many 2-2's this season so it's always hard to remember which one was 0-0 and which was 2-2

Yep sorry it was 0-0 guys.... Most of barca's draws were 2-2 including the super cup first leg against us.... So I got a bit confused.... Anyways if it was up to handballs and fouls and red cards which should have been or not been given madrid and many other teams in many other leagues could have been champions.... That's why teams kill the game so that they won't need to depend on ref decisions.... Barcelona are well known for killing a game in the first half.... Today the team was simply poor

Well it was 0-0 alright, but Messi missed a penalty remember :/ so that should have been Barça's game, but anyways, the thing that Madrid did well this season, they got a great bench to win in a tight schedual against a weak team, (unlike last year, this one weekend Madrid and Barça lost because of their bench), well 5 points ahead ^^ what can I say, Hala Madrid?!

I was just putting some facts in the thread about the handball's. Like I said it can go either way and can turn the points table around at any point. It seems like this season Madrid will loose both clasico's but will win the league. Does anyone know whether this has happened before

I watched the CDR game and Barca was 2 nothing and playing around with the other team on Camp Nou which is the Barca fortress. But the fact is Messi did not show up for this game. Every time he gets the ball he passes to some one and just wonder about

Yeeees, and now fans of Barca makes some noise, because of referee.... OK, I agree that it wasnt best decision. And what? Some time ago (something about 2 years ago) Barca won 1-0 at Camp Nou against Espanyol because of "penalty" (Ibrahimovic scored). That was really important 3 points. Barca just should end this game quicker, that's all.... First you have to rate your players and then a referee. Guardiola said so previously. Madrid is true leader with 5 points advantage. Sry for my language errors

I have to agree. One cannot blame the ref, especially because there are instances where one benefits from the referee. We simply weren't good enough today

I've never seen such lazy play from Barcelona. Slow telegraphed passes in the final third, very few good runs off the ball. I hardly saw Messi move the entire game and whenever he got the ball he just gave it away. I'm a big Barca fan, but they didn't deserve to win this one

Plus if you guys don't get back to consistency against the other teams in la liga, we might end up being 10 points ahead in the next classico.
