Goalkeepers: Joe Hart, Rob Green, John Ruddy

Defenders: Glen Johnson, Phil Jones, John Terry, Joleon Lescott, Gary Cahill, Ashley Cole, Leighton Baines

I think he dropped Rio for 2 reasons    - his age/fitness  - Terry & Rio = potential disaster

I'm actually relying on Carroll to be a surprise package. We can't always play that sweet passing football the same way Barca/Arsenal like to. The English team just isn't technical enough, and with Rooney out for 2 games, so the Stoke approach is our best option.

Defensively we're not too bad and we'll be relying on the quick counter attack with pacey wingers to cross into the box where the Geordie Pony will hopefully nod them in
