To save someone the trouble of answer it is because footytube gets their statistics from an external source and that is why Bale is still a defender while playing as a midfield.

The rosters are all frozen once the initial dreamfooty is released. If they are traded then they will not go towards the cap from a single team. So yes you can have Messi, Fabregas and Xavi all on the same team. Likewise you cannot have Nasri Fabregas and Van Persie

Since last season so why shouldn't he play there on footytube? And the transfers of Mata, Nasri & Fabregas all went down in the summer before the season started....

Correct too, players are fixed in their teams at a point in August this so transfers do not put users over their 2 from a team limit.

The positions are also fixed and Spurs own official site had Bale listed as a defender (couple that with the no 3 squad number). Clearly he plays in midfield now so with the update on the OS next season he should show up as a midfielder

Then what about Nasri, Fabregas, Mata all playing for the wrong teams. These transfers were done long before the transfer deadline in august

The facts are right there and answered fully.

Bale is listed as a defender because Spurs themselves list him as a defender on their own site.

We don't swap players around to new teams mid season partially because it would break a lot of teams. Anyone with two players from that team would instantly have a broken dreamfooty.

Finally, as Barcashow said in his comment which you rudely called 'weak and partially useless', we get all of our stats, rosters and results through an external third party source so we have to go with what we are provided, which is 99. 99% perfect

Honestly mate if it bothers you that much don't play, I'm sure there are more up to date games you could be playing instead of this one which quite obviously annoys you to such an extent that making fun of the valid answers that the people that brought the game here are giving you!

I like this game and that's the only reason I even brought it up, but it's all good. We'll wait till next season for the changes

But you sold him, and removed the star, correct? Did you put the star onto anyone else? That would have probably changed who the system knew as your star striker because you can't have two players listed as that

It is not a bug but it is a big problem. My best advice is to scout the market and make all the changes on paper before executing them in the game
