Video Limits?

Hi,

Is the videos limited to the first page on a non-commercial license? Also are videos removed from the API if they are removed from the provider?

Hi Croksee, No videos are not limited to a one page response. Are you unable to access paging on this method?

Hi Alex,

There is no video service limitation for non commercial users. We have just tried the exact URL above (with your API Key) and all is good.

As Lee mentioned we have tested paging and it is working fine. How are you trying to view the results?

Ok thanks got it working now. Do you have anything in place to check that the videos are correct and remove them if they go offline?

If a video is removed we will remove it from the feed. With caching this can take a little while to be reflected

Also how long do you recommend we store the links?

This depends on how you plan to administer your system:

If you are going to store the links locally, archive them and have an admin system so you can remove links that you notice are going dead. Then you can store the links indefinitely.

If you are not going to have a local admin system then it is best to only store the links for a day or two before either removing them or verifying they are still on the feed
