League ID's
Vman666 (Southampton) 2 years ago
This may have already been answered elsewhere, but it would be very handy to get a list of league ID's and their corresponding names from the API. Is this possible now?

Cheers

Absolutely, use league. GetIdents to retrieve a list of all league id's.

To get team Id's use league. GetTeams (with a valid league i'd) to get all teams within each league

Brilliant, thanks for the tip.    Keep up the good work!

Lee,

How do you get the table(s) data per team? I see there is no Table under Team. Do you need to identify which league(s) the team is in then show the table associated with it or is there an easier way?

Anyone there?

Hi Crooksee sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

At this time there is no Team method for retrieving a list of the league table(s). You are correct in assuming that you have to identify which leagues the team is part of and then pull that table.

Presently the easiest way of doing this is to work out an array of unique id's based on a teams fixtures and results.

We will keep in mind this untidy work around when we look to create new methods

Ok thanks for confirming    Also how are videos meant to be played? Are they meant to play in my sites video player?

Not sure what you mean? We provide you with embed links for each video host, you need to wrap them in a flash object just like you will see in the code for a standard youtube embed

How do you get to the next page on this URL?

Link: api.openfooty.org/1.0/league.GetIdents&api_key=...

?

Crooksee, DO NOT paste YOUR API KEY IN public please! We will need to send you a new one now, so expect your access to be disabled shortly.

The documentation is very clear:

Page Int (Optional) Scan into the results by specifying a page number. Defaults to 0 (page 1)

Just add &page=1 etc

Also can you send me the link to the documentation which shows this? I cannot find it and neither can my developer. Thanks in advance

Also have you changed the link I put because there is no API key there?
Crooksee (NK Dinamo Zagreb) 1 year ago
Apologies, I copied and pasted it from a document I was writing instead of the one I masked manually. Can you send me a new one? Do you have my details?
