Yep, shocking.... Chelsea ended Newcastle and Man City's unbeaten run, demolised an in-form Valencia who just beat a team by 7 goals.... This draw must hurt
I think taking off Sturridge was a mistake. He could've scored a 2nd goal. Anything can happen at 1-0, AVB underestimated Wigan's will and perseverance
Haahahaha chill buddy, I'm just playin' around. It just seems to me like people often get super duper excited about one result and then forget that it's the same 3 points on the line as the next game. Beating wolves, wigan or bolton is just as important as beating united, arsenal, or whichever team. And no, I'm not bitter about it, I was sad for about 2 minutes then I went back to studying for finals haha
Mcftw - Dude, "people" were saying the same thing when you handed United's @sses to them. You're using the word "people" pretty generally. Just because 5 people said something to the effect doesn't mean everyone else holds the same opinion
Yeah, and I thought it was equally as ridiculous to take the derby game that incredibly seriously.... And it was great to get back on track today against arsenal but again, it's just one game
What the hell is AvB doing? Stop trying to please players that we know will leave and start using our future players. AvB performance yesterday was probably the worst coaching in EPL all season. Why is Kalou and Mikel given runs and not Lukaku and Josh? Come January and AvB future will be decided in what and how he changes the squad. We can not compete with these (Mikel, Malouda, Kalou and Bosingwa) still taking valuable places on the bench or incredibly even on the pitch. AvB needs to stop trying to be popular with all players and give everyone a run. They will leave very soon. Send them to the reserves and promote some youngsters. Motivation beats class everytime!
Very well said. I couldn't agree more. I was frustrated to see Mata and Sturridge come off, and then almost pissed myself when Malouda/Mikel came on! We really need to start developing these young players like we're seeing with Romeu
I still believe Mikel is good, but unfortunately was the scapegoat in AVB's high line that he brought in. He wasnt bad in the match while he played. I think Lampard was the flop of the match, and I can't understand why he remained on the pitch. I also think Torres should've come on at some point, just for the sake of fresh legs, and also he has created assists in the past
Poor performance today. They lacked determination in moving forward. The crosses in the box were horrible and they played really sloppily. I'm not gonna' debate about who should go or not but if you fail to make any impact then you have to be replaced. The coach indeed got it wrong with the changes. I thought Wigan deserved the point.... They played with real urgency

Maybe that waggon they recently hopped on has been going through some rough areas of the railway, so the ride made them feel ill to their stomachs which sometimes affects people's ability to think lol

Such a bummer Sturridge didn't get the winning goal. Such control and a great finish from the angle to get botched by a late error by Cech, then again Chelsea were below par in performance for a team they held a 15-0 aggregate against. Wigans persistence payed off. Well done

Its a bummer indeed. I guessed all the hard games (Blakburn, Swansea, Norwich, Everton, Bolton), and all I was left was the easy picks with Chelsea, United, Tottenham and Real Madrid games before I could claim my money (which was a substantial sum btw). Oh well, no use of crying over spilt milk. Loving the Chelsea jerseys btw!
