Absents : If you are absent for 4 consecutive weeks without reason before hand, you lose 4 points and your suspended until you decide to return.
Wildcards : Now these are interesting, Basically you get one Wildcard every 7 games. What wildcards do is create risk, and tension. You choose whenever you would like to use them, But they do not add on after the period of 7 games are complete. How they work is, if you choose to use them, You get double points! Cool huh? But remember what I said about risk? Yeah well, You only can get the double points If in that week you choose to use the wildcard you exceed the amount of points you recieved all together in the two previous weeks.
Example.
Let's say in Week 6 Chelsea vs Barcelona = 4 points for Ayyam Let's say in Week 7 Chelsea vs Madrid = 2 points for Ayyam Let's say in Week 8 Chelsea vs Bayern = 5 points for Ayyam (I decided on using my Wildcard)
If this occurs I will NOT be able to get double points because my tally from the two previous weeks all together was less than the points I received in the week I decided to use my wildcard. And I will hypothetically receive 0 points. So basically with Wildcards, you have to bank on having an awesome week. Of course, If you had two crap weeks you can use it, with no fear.
Challenges : So what are challenges? You get 2 challenges in the same 7 game window Challenges turns the game into a 1 V 1 scenario. If you used your wildcard and would like to get another one, you challenge anyone either 3 places above or below you. If they decline there goes a challenge. If they accept, the fun part begins. Whoever scores more that week (You can not use your wildcard in the same week as a Challenge) wins the other persons Wildcard! Challenges don't affect anyone on the leader board except the two combatants. Example
Week 5 MisterBloom Challenges Greatscot, He accepts. Misterbloom gets 5 points that week and Greatscot gets 6, therfore, MisterBloom has to forfiet his Wildcard.
Its complicated but after a few read throughs you will understand, Wildcards will not be introduced until Game 3, because you need two weeks worth of points to calculate whether your Wildcard is valid.
Is that hard to read the rules, dude, you did not even sign up first of all, second, your supposed to reply to the post 2 below, and third, your supposed to predict one other FA Cup fixture. Fml, Also only join if you are committed. I am not going to sign you up, until you sign up properly
These are the divisions thus far, they will not be changed unless someone who was playing last time round joins, but if any n00bs join, there will be no relegation.
I post the fixture you lot will respond with the scoreline and the goal scorers. Remember one extra fixture in the competition.
3 pts for correct scoreline. 2 points for just the correct end result 1 point for every correct scorer and each of his goals, example if Mikel scores 8 goals and you predicted such, you will recieve 8 points for each goal.
Comprendo?
Also will add the new rules soon. Just wait, and here is a hint, its called Wildcard and Challenges (1 V 1)
Season 2 commences against Portsmouth, But the new rules are applied in the game after.
What I have to do now is see Who is playing next season?
Reply to this post. Remember you have to post a prediction every week, after we have finalized the sign up sheet, I will announce the divisions! And yes, your ranking from last season is important!
Please reply to this post if you are interested. Remember, you have to be committed
Okay honestly? This season is finished we start again at Portsmouth, I am obviously here and active again unlike last time, there is no need to make another fixture
Wolves0-2Chelsea Torres and Romeu Fulham 1-4 Arsenal 1x Dembele /// 2x RVP 1xWalcott 1xArteta

HALT THE predictions BOYS AND girls!
Okay, so can we announce Division 1 and Division 2?! How do the rules look? Who gets regelated and who earns promotions? What do the top 3 or 4 get for the next season?!
@Chelseaman, You make a valid point, But basically its so people don't leave but they will stay anyways odds are, as they have stayed this long, I guess it will be either Wolves or Portsmouth
Its because you, 19, 20, and 21 are tied mate, I have been doing this all season, there are no tiebreakers. They generally do this in Halo , and if its good enough for Halo, its good enough for us
About the pt - giving.... Presently we are getting 2pts for correct result and 4 pts for correct scoreline. I suggest we give 3pts for predicting the same margin. For example, if I predict a 2-0 win and it's a 3-1 win I get 3 pts. And 1 pt for predicting clean sheets. (eg) if I predict a 7-0 win and we win 1-0 I get 3 pts. Thoughts?
None, we had a long drawn out convo about this already and we decided just to leave as is, messing about with the points would just lead to confusion now, Ayyam might have a think about it when he splits into different divisions, until then I would leave it the way it is, if it's nae broke don't fix it!
I already did that, trust me it is quite unbalanced, its why there is a huge gaps in some places in the leaderboard, I don't see the clean sheets thing, Why should you get extra points for it, I just think its easy points. And btw its 2 pts for correct result and 3 pts for correct scoreline.
But what I am adding is a wild card, literally, stay tuned
@Rafey, Yup, I am working that out mate, just watch this spot.
@Bokiya, If your asking why, the point is to allow n00bs have their chance in a new fresh rehash and so we can start the new division from the beginning, I always intended the first season to be a trial, and cause it worked out, I will be coming out with a new version, with a few more rules, and a few surprises.
