New Rules, and it is endorsed by Sepp Blatter, so It must be good.

No one should be able to predict in excess of 5 different scorers - for both teams combined. You can predict a 6-0 win if you like, but it's almost inevitable that 1 or maybe 2 players will score more than 1 goal if that's the case

You can predict more than 5 goals, be my guest, But its 5 scorers, I'd rather less cheats just writing every scorers name than the rare occasion we win more than 5 goals

Wrong Ayyam! It has to be realistic and you have to predict realistically!

Give an accurate prediction 5 points instead so the person that guesses a 3-0 (spot on) gets a good chunk and the person that guesses 11-8 gets the points for the win and no points for the scorers due to unrealistic scorelines (there has to be a cap on what players you guess will score, for example 3 max - 3 players most likely to score)

That is spot on MisterB, if people go all out throwing in 5-5 scorelines with 10 different scorers then if it ends a draw they get the points for a draw but not a thing for the scorers, smart guy MrB!

But if it does end 5-5 and they get all the scorers right then they should just win the competition hands down and start giving us his predictions on the lottery!

Its stupid when people try and cheat their way through a game that is just for fun, keep it real and we'll get on just fine!

Or you could just scrap the scorer's and go on the results, maybe add another game in there so your predicting the Chelsea game and 2 others!

Full points if you get the correct score, 1 point if you just predict the result but do not get the score correct, maybe 2 points if you predict the correct margin, eg I said 2-0 but it's 3-1 they still won by 2 goals so extra point?

Maybe the only way to sort out everyone predicting 10 different scorer's every game

The logic behind realism is as follows:

We aren't even near being on form to be scoring 6+ goals on big teams....

And I said we need a cap on tge number of scoters you are allowed to pick from! So, who are the three most likely to score? (instead of telling me half of our squad). Plus we need to base points off of accuracy so limits are needed! These high scoring games are rare and given that this is a prediction league and not a squad/line up sheet - we need to do more predicting and less nonsense!

P. S. The people that hate this idea need to realize that soon everyone will say things will end at 9-5

@Ayyam imo no one should be able to predict in excess of 5 different scorers - for both teams combined. You can predict a 6-0 win if you like, but it's almost inevitable that 1 or maybe 2 players will score more than 1 goal if that's the case
