An interesting anecdote about this game is that Bursaspor's away shirt very much looks like Celtic's classic green-white stripped shirt, and for obvious reasons, UEFA didn't allow Bursaspor to wear this away shirt of theirs

A great result for rangers considering how the scottish performed in europe recently. They could be the surprise in this group

Rangers did deserve to win this for those users who missed the match.... We had a large chunk of the first half and although Bursaspor were better in the second, the goal was never really threatened. Edu was the stand-out player here, I would have gone for Majid if he didn't give the ball away a couple of times.

Although we would get more money finishing in 2nd, which would be fantastic in alievating our financial situation, I would much prefer third, meaning some post-Christmas football to look forward to (and hopefully travel to....)
